THE GIVER

TOPIC: THE GIVER

SCRIPTURE: "Give and it shall be given unto you..." - Matthew 7:7

There are laws that govern life and if you must enjoy and function to your full capacity you must learn to apply these laws.
From the anchor Scripture it is clear that reciving is tied to giving. I call it the giving and recieving cycle. Your giving always unlocks recieving.
Think of it, how many people have given you gifts this year? How many people have you given gifts this year?
Giving is like breathing for anyone to live, you must breathe in and out. In medicine whenever a person can only take in air and not breathe out life is at risk and highly threatened. Life can end when one only take in oxygen and refuse to give out carbondioxide. That is how it is with giving.
Anyone who does not like to give is attacking and reducing capacity to recieve. Life is not for hoarders but for declutterers.
People who carry 'have it all' mentality can never have it. Those who also have 'give me only' mentality and don't like to give out is destroying inflow.
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days (Ecclesiastes 11:1).
Who to give to:

1. Give unto those in the household of faith.

2. Give to your family.

3. Give to your parents:  Ex. 20:12 " Honour your father and your mother..." One way to honour parents is to give to your parents. Giving unto parents is a trigger of blessing (Gen. 27:7).

4. Give to orphans and less previleged: "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again"(Prov. 19:17).

5. Give to support kingdom projects.

6. Give to your pastor, prophets and those who labour on the word for you: We are in a generation where people do not value Gods servants. People move around with perverted ideas and abuse kingdom principles set by God to establish them. It is mandatory to be a channel of blessing by giving to those who water your spirit with the genuine words of truth (1Cor. 9:11).

THE VALUE OF GIVING

1. Givers are rivers of hope, joy and happiness.

2. When you give, you become an extension to other people's lives.

3. Giving makes you an outreach: To touch lives is to give.

4. Giving to Gods children who are in need is giving directly to God (Matt. 25:45).

5. It gives glory to God (Maty. 5:16).

Key note: If you must recieve then give.

FORGIVENESS

The beauty of the body (the Church) lies in the power of forgiveness.
Look at it this way everyone that is born again is someone whose sins were forgiven. So what made you saved is forgiveness and what will keep you saved is forgiveness. That is why Jesus commanded that forgiveness should be a continuum. Matthew 18: 21-22 "Then came Peter to him, abd said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and i should forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seventy."
In medical term Jesus was giving a subscription saying forgiveness should be ad libitum.
READ More: Matthew 18 23-35.

Three things to note about forgiveness
1. It is the nature of God
2. It is the platform from which mercy flows
3. It is the power that connects you to the fruit of the spirit (peace and joy)
4. It is Gods way of handling human to human relationship and God to man relationship crisis.
A healthy spiritual and physical life is traceabke to forgiveness.

Prayer: Lord if You forgave and forgot my sins, today i also forgive and forget all that men did to me in Jesus name.

Advice: Today forgive

TOPIC: KNOW THE TRUTH

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free - John 8:32

KEY THOUGHT: God's word is divine revelation for your revolution.

From todays' anchor Scripture it is confirmed that freedom is possible when the truth is known. It means that deliverance is tied to the knowledge of the truth.
What is the truth? The Bible in John 14:6, Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life..." So Jesus is the truth. You must know Him to get freedom.
To know here is to come to an experiential manifestation of His personality. It is to develop a peesonal relationship with Christ. It is to come into deep revelation of the truth. It is not to cram or have head knowledge of Christ. Because that is where many people are now. They know Him by history and not by real time.
The danger of knowing the truth based on head knowledge and not by revelation is/are:

1. You will be familiar with the truth: Many are so familiar with God's word which is the truth. Familiarity with the word of God breeds the spirit of religion which extinquishes the power of God in our lives.

2. You won't value the truth: When value is lost, profit is lost. Many have not been able to profit from the word because the have lost value for the word.

3. You can't replicate nor apply the truth.

4. It won't seat nor take root in you.

My counsel to you taday is that you align with the Holy Ghost the custodian of the truth and He will bring you into intimacy and partnership with the Lord.
Finally, develop an intense hunger and be determined to know Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 2:2)

WHAT TO DO: Develop a strong desire to know God in levels you have never before.

PRAYER: Lord i want to know You in Jesus' name.

LIKE GRASSHOPPERS

TOPIC: LIKE GRASSHOPPERS

SCRIPTURE: And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in pur own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight - Numbers 13:33

KEY THOUGHT: Who are you and where you?

Let me tell you that the appearance of a person is in what they think of themselves. The way you see yourself in your mind that is who you are.  But there is a greater influence of how your mind operates and that is the influence it creates on your character and attitude. Your behaviour is the flow of your internal person to the outside.
From today's anchor Scripture we see a people who say they are like grasshoppers and truly there are people today who are like grasshoppers because that is their mentality.
What is/are the features of this kind of people?
1. Mimicry: The grasshopper personality functions this way. What does this mean or what is the implication?
a. It means or implies that you are never original: You are unique and exceptional. God made you to be you maintain your original identity don't become a caricature.
b. It means or implies that such a person is a photocopy not a realcopy: Identity lost is reality lost.  It is destiny misplaced. God framed you for a purpose don't be pressured to mutate or change it. Trying to be what God didn't create you to be is to expose yourself to problems this is because imitation brings irritation.
2. Hop from grass to grass: One character of the grasshopper is hopping from grass to grass and field to field. They move from place to place. There are believers who jump from church to church they have no spiritual legacy and no spiritual walk. Such a person can never grow because growth is empowered by stability and depth. Depth determines your height and your height determines your reach.  Instability is a syndrome and factor that attacks spiritual growth.
God does nothing tangible with unstable and inconsistent people.
My counsel today is that don't be an 'all weather' believer, be who God wants you to be and impact your world for God.

WHAT TO DO: Decide not to be double standard in everyway.

PRAYER POINT: Father! Deliver me from double standard living in Jesus' Name.

THE POWER OF INTERCESSION

TOPIC: THE POWER OF INTERCESSION
SCRIPTURE: Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant- Genesis 25:21
KEY THOUGHT: Intercession triggers intervention.

Fact is there are issues in our lives that might remain unless there is an intervention. There are things that might never change unless another man speaks on your behalf. When men who have spiritual authority speaks over your life there must be a change.
Isaac a prodigy of Abraham, an heir of the blessing and a carrier of God's irrevoacable generational covenant had barreness in his house. His wife couldn't take in then he went before the Lord to pray and talk to God on her behalf. I am sure he said if barreness attacked my mother, it can't survive in my house. The king James Bible stated that "Isaac entreated of the Lord for his wife for she was barren."  The implication of Rebecca been barren was enormous:
a. It meant that the transgenerational blessings God gave to His father Abraham and unto him was under attack: There are issues trying to negate the promises of God in your life. For instance God said your family will be great and relevant but instead of that you notice the opposite. You don't need to sit there and analyse with the devil why it is like that. You have to get up and pray. Tell that devil, God's promises will never elude me.
b. It meant that generational occurrence of barreness was winning: His mother Sarah was also barren until God intervened at the age of ninety (90) she was able to bear a child. This transgenerational syndrome was hunting his family too just as it did to his parents but Isaac got up to address it in the place of prayer.
c. It meant that they would have to wait unnecessarily for a long time for this miracle: Beloved, do you know that there is a miracle just close by only if you can pray? Some people are waiting unnecessarily for a miracle they can make happen if  only they could go before the Lord and pray.
The word entreat in our anchor Scripture means to give an invite, to violently harass, to disturb continously until there is an answer.
Scripture says that from the days of John the Baptist the Kingdom of  God suffered violence and the violent takes it by force. So Isaac bombarded heaven with prayers until he got what he wanted.
I remember years ago a beloved brother was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. When the news got to us in church we were touched and everyone was perplexed. But we interceded, prayed earnestly and presented his case before the throne of Grace. That week he walked out of the hospital with new kidneys. It was possible because people dropped their issues and carried the pain of another to the Lord.
Job interceeded for his friends and God had mercy upon them (Job 42:8-10).
Isaac prayed for his wife and barreness was arrested and buried. After that prayer God blessed them with Jacob and the generation after him never battled with barreness again. I mean that barrenes was never an issue again because someone dared to pray.
Beloved a husband, wife or friend who can pray to God on your behalf is a blessing. Today be a blessing, get up and interceed unbehalf of your family, your country and many other things you are led to pray for, i am sure you will get unimaginable supernatural intervention in Jesus' Name.

WHAT TO DO TODAY: Take time to interceede unbehalf of someone today

PRAYER POINT: Begin to interceede for someone, people, places or your church today in Jesus' Name.
