TOPIC: KNOW THE TRUTH

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free - John 8:32

KEY THOUGHT: God's word is divine revelation for your revolution.

From todays' anchor Scripture it is confirmed that freedom is possible when the truth is known. It means that deliverance is tied to the knowledge of the truth.
What is the truth? The Bible in John 14:6, Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life..." So Jesus is the truth. You must know Him to get freedom.
To know here is to come to an experiential manifestation of His personality. It is to develop a peesonal relationship with Christ. It is to come into deep revelation of the truth. It is not to cram or have head knowledge of Christ. Because that is where many people are now. They know Him by history and not by real time.
The danger of knowing the truth based on head knowledge and not by revelation is/are:

1. You will be familiar with the truth: Many are so familiar with God's word which is the truth. Familiarity with the word of God breeds the spirit of religion which extinquishes the power of God in our lives.

2. You won't value the truth: When value is lost, profit is lost. Many have not been able to profit from the word because the have lost value for the word.

3. You can't replicate nor apply the truth.

4. It won't seat nor take root in you.

My counsel to you taday is that you align with the Holy Ghost the custodian of the truth and He will bring you into intimacy and partnership with the Lord.
Finally, develop an intense hunger and be determined to know Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 2:2)

WHAT TO DO: Develop a strong desire to know God in levels you have never before.

PRAYER: Lord i want to know You in Jesus' name.
