TOPIC: WHAT IS LIFE?
SCRIPTURE:- Leviticus 24
17 “ ‘Anyone who takes the life of a human being is to be put to death.
18 Anyone who takes the life of someone’s animal must make restitution—life for life
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 14:27
DIGGING: Our anchor Scripture shows us the importance of life. So then what is life ?
Life is a gift: Life is God's gift entrusted to our care. It is precious and like any gift, it can be wasted or squandered. Or it can be used for the purpose it was intended. Life is God’s gift to man. What we do with it is our gift to God.
Life is a blessing: Blessing simply means to be empowered. God empowered you with life so that you can empower others.
Life is an assignment: You weren't given life to merely exist. There's something special God assigned that you must do.This means there is a place, a city, a location where God wants you to touch. You can only touch the world through your assignment.
Life is personality: At the end of life your personality is what defines your life. Good people are missed and immortalized but bad people are forgotten in a hurry.
Life is leverage: Is our God given opportunity to influence a system, or an environment positively.
You cannot touch lives if you lack compassion and passion. Beloved i want you to know that life is not a wish, neither is it luck, it is a daily expression of Gods idea for creating you and giving you the privilege to be alive.
There are about a billion people on earth God knows you by name, colour, race and so on. This alone is a prove to you that your life will not go unnoticed, because God notices it.
PRAYER: O Lord help me to live a life of meaning in Jesus' name.
