TOPIC: IT IS THE LORD'S DOING
SCRIPTURE: Psalms 118:23
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
MEMORY VERSE: Mark 4:41
DIGGING: It is an exciting time in our lives, if not for everything but because of life. Our text says that it is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our sight. The significance of this is that: a) Anything God does is traceable to God. That is to say that “This is from the Lord.” That is, It is to be traced to the Lord alone.
b) Anything God does carries His signature on it.
c) Anything God does expresses the abilities of God.
d) It reveals that our God is a doing God. He isn't static or none performing.
WHAT ARE THE TRADE MARK OF GOD'S DOINGS
1) Every doing of God is marvelous.
2) Every doing of God is miraculous
3) Every doing of God is wonderful
4) Every doing of God is glorious
When God does His things no natural laws can stop Him. Sarah was way past menopause but when God stepped in menopause stepped out (Genesis 21:1). Isaac sowed in a dry land in the days of famine and he reaped an hundred fold (Genesis 26:12). Jesus spoke to the stormy sea and if obeyed (Mark 4:41). Moses and all Isreal stood distressed in front of the red sea and the power of God folded the sea off their path so much so that Miriam couldn't help it but began to sing unto God saying "Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" Exodus 15:11.
REMEMBER THAT - When God does anything it bares the mark that God is the doer.
I pray for you today that the things that are impossible, the things that money cannot buy they are the things God will do for you today in Jesus' Name.
