SEEDS OF GRACE (Daily Devotional)
SUNDAY, 11TH DECEMBER 2016.
TOPIC: ELEMENTS OF PRAISE
SCRIPTURE: While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being -- Psalm 146:2.
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 100:1
DIGGING DEEP: The lifestyle of praise places you on a life long sphere of advantage and victory. Every praise giver are never normal nor ordinary because they are carriers of divine presence; their spirit is charged with the Supernatural. A praise giver is not faraway from miracles everyday and anywhere. This is how God wants us to be. You must understand that to give praise is not a section in a church meeting but a lifestyle we practice. There are elements which makes praise effective, some of these are:
1) WORD: To praise God effectively you need to come with words Zephaniah3:9 says that when you approach God you need to come with words. The most powerful word to use in the place of praise is His words. If you can use His words then you can break your walls.
2) SONGS AND MUSIC: To praise God, you need songs and music Psalm 104:33 says "I will sing into the Lord as long as i live..."
3) QUALITY TIME: Psalm 119:164 "Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws."
4) DANCE STEPS: Psalm 149:3 "Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp."
5) A CONNECTED HEART: Sin in the heart, and unforgiveness harply disconnects us from God. Matthew 15:8 "This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me". God is not attracted to lips, He is attracted to heart.
Friends if you will see God praise Him. If you want to move God praise Him. If you want God to move in your favour praise Him. If you can praise Him indeed He will handle your needs. If you can praise Him, He'll raise you up.
Remember this! If you can't praise His name you can't name His name.
I pray for you today, receive unquenchable drive for praising God in Jesus' name.
PRAYER: O Lord teach me how to praise You just like angels do in Jesus' name.
