THE POWER OF COURAGE
TREASURES OF GRACE

THE POWER OF COURAGE
Scripture: Joshua 1:9 KJV
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
I have come to discover that having prophecies, blessings, and Divine backing for any area of your life might guarantee manifestation. However, having dreams and visions of a great life is never enough to make it work. Our anchor Scripture says that one tool you must have in you to get all that God has told you and all that good stuff you have in your heart come through is to be strong and very courageous.
Courage is the power that keeps you going when everything else doesn't make sense. Courage gives you the bulldog tenacity. Courage is having a lion-like heart to pass through the jungles of hopelessness, fear, and attacks. Many potentially great people never arrived because of the lack of courage.
David, for instance, went to battle on his return; the enemy had ransacked him and everything he had. The armies were angry and almost killed him. In that fatigued situation, courage took him before the Lord, and there he got the instruction to pursue, overtake, and recover all.
Courage is not merely boldness; it is to have a heart that is not easily fatigued or drowned by the enemy's assault. Nehemiah was like that; the enemy was attacking him, yet they were building non-stop. If it were some people, they would stop and say it's because the enemy is around.
Finally, you need the spirit of courage today because the enemy is relentless, but courage makes you relentless and audacious. I pray for you; instead of the enemy weakening you, you will be the one to weaken the enemy by your tenacity and courage.
Prayer
O Lord, I refuse to have a weak mind; I receive a heart full of fire and courage in Jesus' name.
