TOPIC: DIARY OF A BLESSED MAN: THE PRESERVATIVE POWER OF THE BLESSING
SCRIPTURE: Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me - Job 29:1-2
MEMORY VERSE: Job 10:12
DIGGING DEEP: The blessing of the Lord is the impartation of the favour and goodwill of the God into the life of His beloved. The blessing of the Lord is the perfume of God that gives your destiny a pleasing acceptance and quality. It is the investment of grace into our lives to make us live in the uncommon realm. It is God becoming your back up and your backbone. It is the commitment of heaven to the welfare of the saints here on earth.
One essential character of the blessing of God is preservation. Preservation is to keep alive and safe from any harm and danger.
It is an established fact that God cannot bless you and allow the enemy waste you. He is committed to preserving you so as to keep a legacy on earth. If it is God that released His blessing upon you, he will be responsibile to preserve you. Job was a blessed man and the wealthiest in his time. From our text he recounted how that the blessing of the Lord preserved him. Abraham a blessed man was preserved: King Abimelech took Sarah his wife and God personally rebuked him and restored Sarah back to Abraham (Genesis 201-5).
God cannot bless you and allow the devil waste you. God can not bless you and not be committed to your preservation. God cannot bless you and allow evil verdict have a filled day in your life and destiny. The blessing of God preserves you wholly.
When Isreal was moving into Canaan, God permitted no one to hurt them: kings couldn't touch them, spell casters, enchanters, diviners and native doctors couldn't harm them because the blessing restricts evil from the righteous (Psalm 105:13-14).
Finally beloved, the blessing places a restriction order over and against agencies structured by the enemy to hurt you.
By the power of the blessing any demonic agenda structured to hurt you emotionally, aimed to kill your joy or waste your life are wasted today by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus' name.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your word to me today. Through the blood of Jesus, i lay claim on the covenant of preservation, no disaster nor harm will come to me. My marriage is preserved, my body is preserved, my finances, children and my faith in You is preserved and strengthened in Jesus' name.
