TOPIC: NO VANITY IN HIS CALL
SCRIPTURE: I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right - Isaiah 45:19
MEMORY VERSE: Luke 18:29
DIGGING DEEP: The biggest and best work ever is working for God because when God pays His servants, He pays big. God does not owe those who faithfully serve Him in Luke 18:28-30 Peter said, “We’ve left our homes to follow you.” “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come.”
We are called to be disciples of Jesus and to lift high the banner of the kingdom everywhere we go as we daily herald His coming back in glory. But all of these is at a cost, infact a sacrificial cost. You must leave the world to cleave to Him. And by so doing we enjoy promises of blessings on earth and in eternity. When God called Abraham, it was a call out of vanity into eternity, Jesus called the disciples not to become jokers on earth or people to be pitied but to become those to be envied. You weren't called to be sick, sickness isn't part of the call. Poverty was never a part nor parcel of the kingdom call. I remember while studying at the university, i had to do some work at the teaching hospital. In the process i decided to check what the validity of the healing covenant that says in Exodus 15:26 that says "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee." I did a research on the population of people with terminal ailment such cancer and the likes, people who where involved in accidents and those who have been in the hospital for more than twelve months. I discovered that unbelievers i mean those who are not Christians made up about ninety percent of the population pool and the remaining ten percent when asked if they go to Church often, are workers or tithers only about one percent admitted to been serious with God on that level. It showed me that divine covenant works for faithful servants. If you are faithful and you are under any form of siege it is for God's glory to be made manifest in your life. He didn't call you into vanity but into glory. When others cry that there is a cast down, plaque, economic melt down or disappointment you will be saying my case is different. Understand that God's call is
a) A call into the uncommon life of victory.
b) A call into a covenant walk with Him.
c) A call into glory in eternity.
I decree upon you today every satanic yoke of vanity crawling around your life be permanently destroyed in Jesus' name.
PRAYER: O Lord, i recieve unusual grace to be hundred percent committed to you in Jesus' name.
