PRAYER THAT GENERATES IMPACT

TOPIC: PRAYER THAT GENERATES IMPACT
SCRIPTURE: And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness - Acts 4:31
MEMORY VERSE: Luke 22:44
DIGGING DEEP: History bares marks of people who touched, changed and impacted their world via prayer. E. M. Bonds said "Four things let us ever keep in mind: God hears prayer, God heeds prayer, God answers prayer, and God delivers by prayer." This makes our prayers thick and generates impact on earth.
How can we pray to generate impact:
1) Praying according to Gods will (James 4:2-3, 1 John 5:14). Have you ever experienced this scenarior whereby you ask someone a question and he gave exactly what is on your mind? That is exactly what happens when you pray according to Gods will. You are piping into Gods mind and praying exactly what is on Gods mind.
A will less prayer is a winless prayer.
2) Selfless prayer: Heaven is serious with those who are selfless. So therefore selfless prayers is taken seriously by God.
3) Pray Consistently (1 These 5:14, Phil 4:6-7). Daniel prayed consistently for twenty one days until heaven broke through for him.
4) Prayer of faith (James 1:6;5:16)
When we Weaver in faith it looks to God that u belittling Him. Faithless prayers are weightless prayers.
5) Praying in the word: God will affect you to the level of the word in you. Effective prayer is praying in the word (John 15:7)· The word is d basis of our faith hence itbis the strength of our prayers. The word gives us powerful Spiritual vocabularies to talk with God. If the word of God is Spirit and God is Spirit then you can only communicate with God via His words.
Understand that a prayerless Christian is an impactless Christian.
PRAYER: O Lord i refuse laziness in the place of prayer. I decree that the grace to pray continuously and voraciously comes upon me today in Jesus' name.
