SEEDS OF GRACE (Daily Devotional)

TOPIC: THE MESSIANIC AGE
SCRIPTURE: 1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Psalms 110:1 – 2
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 110:2
DIGGING DEEP: History and time is adjusting itself to the most powerful event of all ages. Heralding our entry into the last age, the Messianic age. The Messianic age began from the birth of Jesus and it continues and will end when Jesus' returns again. As we gradually approach the last phase of the Messianic age, it is important to understand this. I divide this age into two firstly is the the MESSIANIC SEED AGE: Jesus came and finished the work of salvation and uptil today the seed of salvation still exists and anyone who receives Christ receives the seed of God. This seed contains the very DNA of God Himself so that if we allow this seed to grow in us unto maturity we will exhibit the fruits of God. Anyone who have accepted the seed of God will definitely bare and show the fruits of God. Philippians 1:11 says "May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God (NLT).
Secondly, is the MESSIANIC HARVEST AGE: This age just like the first has a blend of the present and the future. The present day Messianic harvest age appears in our everyday life as believers. Jesus said "unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark16:15). Harvest of souls is a show of what the very last stage looks like. God wants us to literally capture souls from the kingdom of the devil and literally rapture them unto salvation.The responsibility is on us to carry the seed in us, turn it into fruits and preach Jesus' to every creature. Then the very end of the Messianic age will appear when Jesus the Son of God will appear wrapped in glory to finally harvest to Himself everyone who has maintained the Messianic seed He has received. This class of persons "The LORD says unto...Sit thou at my right hand..." The right hand of God is the place of power, authority and dominion. Beloved I believe you have a clearer picture of why God sent His only begotten Son to us. It is simply so that we have His nature and sit with Him in glory, power and authority. To simply reign with Him (2 Timothy 2:12).
I pray for you may the seed of God in your life never die in Jesus' name.
PRAYER: O Lord, give me diligence to see your seed in me grow, blossom and bare fruit in Jesus' name.
