Power That Lifts Men

Power That Lifts Men

By Dr Joel Dabbas

Scripture Reading:

  • Ephesians 3:20"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

  • Isaiah 60:1-3"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee."

  • Romans 8:11"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

Introduction

Praise the Lord! I want you to know that the power we are talking about today is not just ordinary power; it is the power that lifts men, that changes their levels, and that opens doors that no man can shut.

Many people are living beneath their potential. They are struggling in places where they should be soaring. But hear me, there is a power that lifts men, that changes your position and establishes you in your rightful place of glory.

Somebody is about to experience a divine encounter today!

1. The Source of the Lifting Power

The first thing I need you to understand is that the lifting power is not of this world. It does not come from human wisdom or effort. The Bible says in Ephesians 3:20, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

This power comes from God!

It is the power of the Holy Ghost that moves men from the pit to the palace, from obscurity to prominence, and from poverty to prosperity. Romans 8:11 tells us that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in you, and He can quicken your mortal body, lifting you from every limitation!

It doesn't matter where you are now. It doesn't matter what circumstances you face. The power that lifted Jesus from the grave can lift you above every obstacle, above every situation, and take you to the place of greatness!

2. The Characteristics of Lifting Power

What is the nature of this power?

  • It is a Transforming Power: When this power touches your life, it changes you! It doesn't just fix things around you—it transforms everything in you. The way you think, the way you talk, the way you walk, and the way you live will change. In Isaiah 60:1, the Bible says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” This is not a power that keeps you where you are, but a power that elevates you from where you are to where God intends you to be.

  • It is a Power that Breaks Barriers: In Acts 3, when the crippled man at the gate called Beautiful received the power of God through Peter and John, he didn't just get healed; he got lifted! He went from begging for arms to walking and leaping in the temple, praising God. What had held him for years was broken in a moment, and he was lifted! Lifting power breaks barriers, dismantles limitations, and removes what has been holding you back!

  • It is a Power that Restores Glory: Many people have lost their glory, their dignity, and their sense of self-worth. But the power of God has the capacity to restore you to glory! In Isaiah 60:2, it says, "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." This power brings restoration to what the enemy has stolen!

3. The Effects of Lifting Power

When the power of God lifts you, what happens?

  • It Lifts Your Status: The power that lifts men takes you from a place of insignificance to a place of honor. It shifts your status and makes you a wonder to your generation. When the power of God is at work, you will be elevated beyond the capacity of natural systems.

  • It Lifts Your Destiny: Your destiny is not determined by your family background, your education, or the country you were born in. It is determined by the power of God. When that power is at work, it lifts your destiny. God can take you to places you never thought possible. He can connect you with people who will push your destiny forward, and He can cause things to begin working together for your good in miraculous ways!

  • It Lifts Your Business and Ministry: I don’t care how small your business or ministry is; when the power of God touches it, it will begin to expand, grow, and flourish. God is able to lift you from the valley of mediocrity to the heights of excellence. The lifting power will take your business from a small corner to the marketplace of nations!

4. Accessing the Lifting Power

Now, how do you access this power?

  • Desire: The Bible says in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." You must have a deep desire for change! If you’re comfortable where you are, you will remain there. But if you have a hunger and thirst for God’s power, He will surely answer you!

  • Faith: In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” You must believe in the ability of God to lift you. You must believe that the power of God is available and that it is your portion.

  • Obedience: John 14:15 tells us, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” The power that lifts men is activated by obedience to God's Word. When you align yourself with His will, the power will flow freely into your life.

  • The Anointing: The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the vehicle of lifting power. Isaiah 10:27 says, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” When the anointing comes upon you, burdens are lifted, and yokes are broken!

Conclusion

Child of God, the power that lifts men is available for you today. You don’t have to remain in the same place where you’ve always been. God is calling you higher!

Lift your hands and begin to believe God for that power to lift you. Whatever has been holding you down, is leaving you today. The lifting power of God is about to take you to your next level.

I declare over your life that no power will be able to keep you down! You will rise from the ashes. You will shine with glory! The power of God is lifting you now!

In Jesus' name, amen!

May the Lord bless and keep you, and may His power take you to places you’ve never dreamed of!

Let's Pray

1. Prayer for Divine Lifting by the Power of God

Father, I thank You for the power that raises men and lifts them from obscurity to prominence. Today, I ask for that same power to be released upon my life. Lift me from every form of stagnation, limitation, and discouragement. Let Your power take me to the next level in my life, my business, my family, and my destiny. As You lifted Jesus from the grave, lift me from every pit of despair and elevate me to new heights in Jesus' name!

Scripture Reference: Isaiah 60:1, Ephesians 3:20

2. Prayer for Breakthrough and Restoration

Lord, I declare that every barrier and hindrance in my life is broken today in the name of Jesus. Whatever the enemy has stolen from me—my joy, my health, my prosperity—I receive divine restoration by Your lifting power. Let the glory of the Lord be seen upon me, and let everything that was lost be returned sevenfold. I command every yoke of stagnation to break, and I receive supernatural breakthroughs in every area of my life in Jesus' name!

Scripture Reference: Isaiah 60:2, Romans 8:11

3. Prayer for the Anointing of the Holy Spirit to Empower Me

Heavenly Father, I ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon my life. Let the anointing that breaks every yoke and lifts every burden rest upon me. Empower me with the strength to fulfill my divine purpose and destiny. I refuse to remain in mediocrity; I receive the power to excel, to overcome, and to rise above every challenge. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit cause everything I lay my hands to prosper and bring glory to Your name in Jesus' name!

Scripture Reference: Isaiah 10:27, Acts 1:8

GRACE TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM THIS YEAR

GRACE TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM THIS YEAR

The Teaching Ministry of Dr Joel Dabbas

Anchor Scripture:

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain…”1 Corinthians 15:10

Introductory Exhortation

Beloved, understand this:
Every season of advancement in the Kingdom is sponsored by grace.

There is no genuine kingdom progress without a corresponding allocation of divine grace. Whenever God desires to move His purposes forward in a generation, He does not start with activities—He starts with grace deposits.

This year, God is not merely calling us to do more; He is calling us to receive more grace, because kingdom advancement is impossible by human strength.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord.” — Zechariah 4:6

Understanding Grace in the Context of the Kingdom

Grace is not just forgiveness.
Grace is not just mercy.

Grace is divine enablement—the supply of God’s ability to accomplish God’s agenda.

Grace is what makes:

  • Ordinary men carry eternal mandates

  • Weak vessels steward mighty assignments

  • Limited humans produce everlasting impact

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” — Titus 2:11

Grace appears, and when it appears, it empowers.

Three Dimensions of Grace Needed to Advance the Kingdom

1. Grace for Alignment

You cannot advance what you are not aligned with.

Many believers love the Kingdom, but they are not aligned with:

  • God’s priorities

  • God’s methods

  • God’s timing

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…” — Matthew 6:33

Grace for alignment brings:

  • Clarity of assignment

  • Discernment of seasons

  • Freedom from distractions

Without alignment, energy is wasted. With alignment, even little strength produces massive results.

2. Grace for Authority and Influence

Kingdom advancement requires authority, not noise.

Jesus said:

“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore…” — Matthew 28:18–19

The “go” is backed by power.

Grace gives:

  • Spiritual authority

  • Credibility before men

  • Results that authenticate the message

This is why the early church advanced rapidly:

“And with great power gave the apostles witness… and great grace was upon them all.” — Acts 4:33

Notice the equation:
Great power + Great grace = Great advancement

3. Grace for Endurance and Faithfulness

Advancing the Kingdom is not a sprint—it is a stewardship.

Many start well; few finish strong.

Paul said:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7

Grace is what keeps you:

  • Consistent when applause fades

  • Faithful when results delay

  • Burning when others grow cold

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

How to Access Grace for Kingdom Advancement

1. Hunger and Dependence

Grace flows to the humble, not the self-sufficient.

“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” — James 4:6

2. Prayer and Fellowship with the Spirit

Grace is mediated by the Holy Spirit.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost…” — 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. Alignment with Kingdom Purposes

Grace follows assignment.
When you commit to God’s agenda, God commits His resources.

Prophetic Charge for the Year

This year, receive grace to advance:

  • Grace to preach with power

  • Grace to serve with purity

  • Grace to influence systems

  • Grace to disciple nations

  • Grace to represent Christ accurately

You will not labor in vain.
You will not build alone.
You will not be stranded in weakness.

“And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.” — John 1:16

Closing Prayer

Lord, we receive grace—not to build our names, but Your Kingdom.
Grace to advance truth.
Grace to steward influence.
Grace to finish strong.

Let this year mark visible kingdom progress through our lives, our churches, our callings, and our nations—in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Three Powerful Prayer Points

  1. Prayer for Alignment with God’s Kingdom Purposes:

Father, I pray for divine alignment with Your Kingdom purposes this year. Help me to prioritize Your agenda above all else. Grant me the clarity of assignment, discernment for the seasons, and the grace to be free from distractions that hinder my progress. May I always seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  1. Prayer for Authority and Influence in the Kingdom:

Lord, I ask for grace to walk in spiritual authority and influence. Empower me with the credibility that comes from You, that my words and actions may bear fruit for Your Kingdom. May my life reflect Your power and might, authenticating the message of Christ to the nations. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  1. Prayer for Endurance and Faithfulness in Kingdom Service:

Father, I ask for the grace to endure in the work of the Kingdom and remain faithful to the end. Strengthen me when I grow weary, and renew my passion when the journey feels long. May I finish my course with faithfulness, keeping my eyes fixed on the eternal reward. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Redefining Your Bloodline: The Power of Jesus’ Blood

Redefining Your Bloodline: The Power of Jesus’ Blood

By Dr Joel Dabbas

“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham…” (Matthew 1:1)
This genealogy is not just a list of names, it’s a message—a deep, spiritual message. When you read through the generations of Jesus, you’ll realize something profound: His bloodline was not perfect. No, it wasn’t a line of holy, blameless saints. It was a mixture—the good, the bad, and the ugly. And I want to talk about that today.

Listen, if you look at the genealogy of Jesus, you’ll see all kinds of people. There are kings like David, who wrote Psalms, but there are also prostitutes like Rahab, adulterers like Bathsheba, and liars like Jacob. There’s even a murderer like Manasseh. These people were far from perfect! But that’s the power of God’s grace. God is showing us that His redemptive plan doesn't depend on how perfect you are—it depends on His ability to make something beautiful out of your brokenness. That’s why the Bloodline of Jesus is a mixture—because God’s grace covers it all. No matter your past, no matter your mistakes, Jesus came through a bloodline that was messy. But because of Him, everything was redefined.

You see, the message here is simple: God chooses you in your imperfection. And no matter how ugly or broken your family line looks, God can redeem it. There’s hope for everyone because the bloodline of Jesus was not just about flawless saints, but about God’s ability to work through every situation and bring redemption.

Now, I want you to understand this next point:

The Babylonian Captivity: The World System

You know what else the genealogy reveals? It reveals that Jesus’ bloodline was in captivity in Babylon for years. Now, Babylon wasn’t just a geographical place. No, Babylon represents the world system—the system that tries to hold us captive, keep us in bondage, and influence our thinking with things like pride, greed, and lust. Babylon is what the world wants you to be, but it’s not what God created you for.

There are families today that are still in Babylon. They’re bound by the world’s expectations. They’re stuck in cycles of poverty, addiction, confusion, and broken relationships. Maybe your family has been in this kind of captivity—generation after generation, living under the influence of worldly systems. But I want to tell you today, that captivity is not your portion! The blood of Jesus has the power to set you free.

Jesus came into this world to break every chain of captivity. When Jesus stepped into the world, He didn’t just come to be born in a manger—He came to break the hold of Babylon over His bloodline. And because He did it for Himself, He is doing it for you too. Whatever generational curses, cycles, or bondages you might be facing, Jesus came to set you free.

Now, let’s go deeper. The most profound thing about Jesus’ bloodline is this:

Jesus Redefined the Bloodline

Before Jesus, the trajectory of every family line was pretty much the same: you’re born, you live, you have children, and that’s the end of your generational story. There was no major shift in how things were done. But when Jesus came, He broke the mold. He redefined His bloodline in a powerful way.

How did He do that?
He was born of the Holy Ghost. This wasn’t just a natural birth—it was a supernatural act. Mary, a young virgin, was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, and Jesus was conceived. This isn’t just a theological point—it’s the core of the Gospel. The moment Jesus came into the world, everything changed. He brought a new bloodline—one that was no longer defined by human effort or natural circumstances. It was defined by the Spirit of God.

And here’s what’s so powerful about this: the moment Jesus redefined His bloodline, He didn’t just do it for Himself—He did it for all of us. He introduced a new way of living, a new bloodline that transcends our natural birth. This is the bloodline of the Spirit of God, the bloodline of faith, the bloodline of grace. When you are born again, you are no longer a part of the old bloodline that was under the influence of Babylon, or sin, or death. You are now part of the bloodline of Jesus Christ.

And here’s the thing, beloved, you can redefine your own bloodline.
The moment you accept Christ, your spiritual inheritance changes. The power of the Holy Ghost enters you, and your identity shifts. You are no longer bound by the limitations of your natural family line, your past mistakes, or the cycles that have plagued your family. In Christ, your bloodline is redefined.

Maybe there have been issues in your family—sickness, financial struggle, divorce, or addictions. You can look at those things and say, “In the name of Jesus, my bloodline is redefined.” You don’t have to accept those generational patterns anymore. Through the blood of Jesus, you have been grafted into a new bloodline—one of victory, power, grace, and supernatural breakthrough.

This is the beauty of the Gospel! It doesn’t matter what your bloodline looks like in the natural—in Christ, you are a new creation. The old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new! Your new bloodline is empowered by the Holy Ghost, and it carries the blessings, promises, and authority of the Kingdom of God.

So, here’s the declaration I want you to make today:

“I redefine my bloodline through the blood of Jesus. I step into the legacy of Christ, and I break free from the chains of the world, from every generational curse, and from every limitation. I claim my inheritance in Christ, and I declare that my life, my family, and my future will be marked by the power of the Holy Spirit!”

Conclusion:

Jesus’ bloodline was messy, it was captive, but it was redefined by the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, the same can be true for you. No matter where you come from or what your family has gone through, in Christ, you can redefine your bloodline. Step into the fullness of what God has for you and walk in the freedom, grace, and power of the Holy Ghost.

Prayer Point

1. Prayer for the Redemption of My Bloodline

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem my bloodline. I stand in the power of His blood, and I declare that every curse, every chain, and every limitation upon my family line is broken today. I speak to every generational curse of sickness, poverty, addiction, and broken relationships, and I command them to be uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus!

Lord, I decree and declare that the bloodline of my ancestors is washed, cleansed, and redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. From this moment, I declare my family is free, my children are free, and every future generation will walk in the freedom and blessing of the Lord.

2. Prayer to Break Free from the System of Babylon

Father, I repent for any agreement, knowingly or unknowingly, that I or my family have made with the system of Babylon—the system of the world. I renounce every spirit of pride, greed, lust, fear, and idolatry that has held my bloodline captive. I declare that the influence of the world is broken over my life, my family, and my future.

Lord, I ask for Your grace to break free from the world’s system and align my life with Your Kingdom. I declare that I am no longer bound by the cycles of this world but am set free by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let my life be a reflection of Your Kingdom values, and may I raise a generation that will live for Your glory alone!

3. Prayer for a Fresh Spiritual Legacy in Christ

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the new bloodline I have in Christ Jesus. Today, I declare that I am born of the Spirit and not of the flesh. I am part of the bloodline of Jesus, a bloodline that is marked by victory, power, and eternal life. I receive the inheritance of Christ, and I walk in the fullness of my new identity in Him.

Father, I pray that every spiritual inheritance that belongs to me will be activated today. I declare that my family and I will walk in righteousness, peace, joy, and power. Let Your blessings overflow in my life and in the lives of my descendants. I speak life and destiny over every future generation that comes from me—they will carry the light of Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost!

4. Prayer for Deliverance from Generational Strongholds

Father, in the name of Jesus, I take authority over every generational stronghold that has been established in my family line. I come against every spirit of infirmity, failure, confusion, and defeat that has been passed down through the generations. I declare that these strongholds are demolished by the power of the Holy Ghost!

I bind every spirit of fear, failure, addiction, and poverty that has tried to follow me and my family. I command them to leave, never to return, in the mighty name of Jesus! I release the power of deliverance and breakthrough over my life and over the lives of my family members. Let every generational cycle of defeat be broken, and let victory and freedom reign in my household!

5. Prayer for the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit to Redefine My Bloodline

Holy Spirit, I invite You to come and empower me to walk in the fullness of my new identity in Christ. I thank You that through Jesus, my bloodline has been redefined. I declare that I am no longer a slave to sin, to the world’s system, or to any generational curse. I am a child of God, and I carry the power and authority of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, empower me to live in victory. Fill me with divine wisdom, strength, and courage to break every chain that has held me back. I speak into my future and the future of my family: we will walk in the power, grace, and wisdom of God. I declare that the bloodline of my family will be marked by the Holy Ghost, and every generation will live in the full expression of God's will for their lives.

Declaration:

I declare over my life and my family, that from this day forward, every generational curse is broken. I am stepping into the new bloodline that Jesus has created for me—a bloodline of victory, freedom, and blessing. My family and I will live in the fullness of God’s promises, and we will impact the generations to come for His glory. In the name of Jesus, I claim this victory and redefine my bloodline by the power of the Holy Ghost. Amen!

Prayer Points:

1. Prayer for Faith to Obey God’s Instructions
Father, we ask for the grace to trust You completely, even when Your instructions seem unconventional or illogical. Strengthen our faith to obey Your Word, no matter the circumstances. Help us to remember that when we obey You, we unlock the supernatural in our lives. May our hearts be willing to follow Your leading, knowing that Your way is always best. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

2. Prayer for an Overflow of Blessings and Purpose
Lord, we thank You for the overflow of blessings that You promise to those who trust in You. We ask that You pour out Your abundant provision into every area of our lives—our finances, our relationships, our careers, and our ministries. May the blessings You give us not only meet our needs but overflow to bless others. Additionally, we ask that You align our lives with Your divine purpose. May we not just experience miracles, but may those miracles lead us into greater callings and destinies for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

My Full Time Has Come: Prophetic Declaration for Divine Timing, Manifestation, and Acceleration

My Full Time Has Come: Prophetic Declaration for Divine Timing, Manifestation, and Acceleration

From The Teaching Ministry of Dr Joel Dabbas

Anchor Scripture:

“And Elizabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.”
Luke 1:57

Introduction

Beloved, there is a season called full time.
A moment when prophecy matures.
A moment when waiting expires.
A moment when silence breaks and manifestation speaks.

The Bible says Elizabeth’s full time came.
Not might come.
Not almost came.
It came.

Tonight, I announce to someone under the sound of my voice:
Your full time has come!

Understanding “Full Time”

Full time is the divinely appointed season when:

  • Promise turns into performance

  • Prayer turns into proof

  • Prophecy turns into physical reality

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says:

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Beloved, delay is not denial.
Waiting is not wasting.
Silence is not absence.

Elizabeth waited many years, but when full time came, one day produced what years could not.

Characteristics of Full Time

1. Full Time Ends Reproach

“…The Lord has taken away my reproach among men.” — Luke 1:25

When full time comes:

  • Mockery expires

  • Shame is swallowed by glory

  • Tears give way to testimony

I decree:
Every reproach around your life is ending now!

2. Full Time Overrides Natural Limitations

Elizabeth was:

  • Old in age

  • Medically unqualified

  • Naturally disqualified

But full time does not consult biology.
It answers only to divinity.

Romans 4:19:

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead…”

When your full time comes:

  • Dead things live

  • Closed doors open

  • Dry bones rise

3. Full Time Is Recognized by Heaven

Angels spoke before men saw.
Heaven announced before earth applauded.

Beloved, before people see it, God has settled it.

Isaiah 46:10:

“Declaring the end from the beginning…”

Your result is not an accident; it is an appointment.

Why Some Full Times Delay

1. Impatience

Abraham rushed and produced Ishmael.
But full time would have produced Isaac without stress.

2. Fear

Fear postpones what faith accelerates.

3. Spiritual Resistance

Daniel’s answer came, but warfare delayed manifestation.

But hear me:
No resistance can cancel a divine full time.

Signs Your Full Time Has Come

  1. Unusual spiritual stirring

  2. Alignment of helpers

  3. Repetition of prophetic words

  4. Inner assurance stronger than circumstances

If your spirit is responding now, that is not emotion—it is recognition.

Prophetic Declarations

Lift your right hand and declare:

  • My waiting season is over

  • My prophecy is ripe

  • My delay is expired

  • My announcement has come

  • My full time has come

I decree:

  • That marriage shall manifest

  • That ministry shall be unveiled

  • That business shall break forth

  • That calling shall find expression

Just as Elizabeth brought forth in her full time,
You will deliver your miracle alive and complete!

Closing Charge

Beloved, when full time comes:

  • Don’t be afraid

  • Don’t explain

  • Don’t apologize

Carry your testimony boldly.

Because when God brings it to pass,
No man can question the timing.

Final Prophetic Word

By the authority of Scripture
By the power of the Holy Ghost

I announce to you: MY FULL TIME HAS COME!

Amen.

3. Prayer for Supernatural Acceleration

Scripture: Amos 9:13

4. Prayer to Override Natural Limitations

Scripture: Romans 4:19–21

In the name of Jesus, every natural, medical, financial, or human limitation standing against my testimony in 2026—be overridden by the power of God. I refuse to be defined by age, history, or circumstances. I walk in divine possibilities. My full time has come!

5. Prayer for Delivery and Preservation

Scripture: Isaiah 66:9

Lord, since You have brought me to the time of delivery, You will not stop me now. I decree safe, complete, and glorious delivery of every promise, prophecy, and vision assigned to my life in 2026. No miscarriage, no loss, no abortion of destiny. My full time has come!

Prophetic Seal

Lift your voice and declare:

“In 2026, I will not miss my season, I will not delay my destiny, I will not lose my harvest—MY FULL TIME HAS COME!”

Amen.

How Heaven Responds to God: Learning True Worship from Angels and the Throne Room

How Heaven Responds to God: Learning True Worship from Angels and the Throne Room

by Dr Joel Dabbas

Introduction

Many people walk into church meetings very casual, highly self-aware and looking as though they are not before the God of all gods, the Holiest of all, the CEO of the universe, the Greatest of all.

This is not a behavioral issue; it is a perception issue.
Men respond wrongly because they see wrongly. In Scripture, no one ever encountered God accurately and remained casual. Casualness in spiritual things is always proof of misalignment of revelation.

The presence of God is not an ordinary earth's sphere governed by physical and biological systems. Hebrews 12 exclaimed that we have come to mount Zion the city of the living God in the company of innumerable numbers of Angels". That is not an ordinary place. This is the city of God where mortals meet immortals and the powerless meets the most powerful.

Hebrews 12 does not present a metaphor; it unveils a spiritual reality.
Whenever God’s presence is revealed, geography collapses. Time submits. Flesh loses dominance. Earth must borrow its manners from heaven.
If believers truly discerned where they were, silence would precede speech, and reverence would precede expression.

There is a model in Scripture we learn from spirits and Angels that are before the throne because many people try to learn what to say to God, but Scripture often shows us how to be before Him by watching those who already stand in His presence.

God is less interested in rehearsed vocabulary than correct posture.
In Scripture, encounters never begin with words; they begin with alignment. Heaven teaches us response before language.

If we look carefully at angels, the 24 elders, and the living creatures in Scripture—especially in Isaiah 6, Ezekiel 1 & 10, Daniel 7, and Revelation 4–5—a few consistent patterns emerge.

These beings are not worship leaders; they are custodians of divine protocol.
They teach us that worship is not creativity—it is accuracy.

1. They respond with awe and reverence

Angels don’t rush into God’s presence casually.

  • “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts” (Isaiah 6:3)

  • The repetition emphasizes overwhelming holiness, not information.

In the presence of God, repetition is not redundancy—it is overload.
The finite encountering the infinite produces language that is stretched to its limit.

So your response should be
Before words, there is reverence. Silence, stillness, and recognition of God’s holiness are themselves a response.

Silence in God’s presence is not emptiness; it is intelligence.
Where reverence is absent, access may still exist—but authority will not.

2. They respond by worship, not explanation

The 24 elders:

  • Fall down

  • Cast their crowns

  • Worship Him who lives forever (Revelation 4:10)

They don’t defend themselves, explain their achievements, or ask for clarification.

Crowns represent legitimacy—yet they are surrendered.
This teaches us that even what God gives you must never compete with who God is.

Your response should be
Our accomplishments, titles, and authority are laid down—not used—as we respond to God.

Anything you insist on holding in God’s presence becomes a silent rival.
True worship begins where self-importance ends.

3. They respond immediately and willingly

Angels are often described as:

  • “Mighty ones who do His word, obeying the voice of His word” (Psalm 103:20)

There is no delay, negotiation, or resistance.

In heaven, obedience is not processed—it is executed.
Delay is not caution; delay is often resistance wearing the garment of wisdom.

Your Response should:
Obedience is not secondary to worship—it is worship.

God is not moved by enthusiasm; He is moved by alignment.
Obedience is the loudest worship heaven recognizes.

4. They respond with humility and self-forgetfulness

Even powerful beings cover themselves in God’s presence:

  • Seraphim cover their faces and feet (Isaiah 6:2)

  • Elders fall face-down

These are not weak beings. They are exalted beings with perspective.
The closer one gets to glory, the less visible self becomes.

Your response should be:
True response to God reduces self-awareness and increases God-awareness.

Pride survives distance from God; humility is the natural result of proximity.

5. They respond with proclamation of who God is

Their speech is God-centered:

  • Worthy

  • Holy

  • Creator

  • Redeemer

They don’t speak about themselves.

Heaven does not narrate activity; it announces identity.
Prayer that remains problem-focused has not yet matured into worship.

Your response should be:
Prayer and worship mature when they become less about our condition and more about God’s nature.

When God’s nature becomes your language, your problems lose their voice.

6. They respond continuously, not occasionally

Revelation describes worship that is:

  • Day and night

  • Without ceasing

This is not emotional worship; it is governmental posture.
Worship sustains order in heaven the same way laws sustain nations on earth.

Your response should be:
Responding to God isn’t an event—it’s a posture.

You don’t visit reverence; you live there.

Bringing this into personal practice

You might find it meaningful to shape your response to God like this during prayer or meditation:

  1. Begin with stillness
    Acknowledge His holiness without speaking.

    Stillness recalibrates perception.

  2. Offer worship
Name who He is, not what you need.

Needs fade when nature is revealed.

  3. Lay down crowns
Consciously surrender roles, successes, fears, and control.

    Surrender restores accuracy.

  4. Yield your will
Ask, “What would You have me do?”

    Authority follows submission.

  5. Remain attentive
Let listening be part of your response.

God speaks most clearly to those who are correctly positioned.

Final Apostolic Emphasis

This is the biblical way of learning—by watching heaven to learn how to live on earth.

If heaven were to inspect our gatherings, would they recognize their culture?
God does not respond to excitement.
God does not respond to noise.
God responds to accuracy.

We watch heaven so we can stand correctly on earth.

GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED

GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED

Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

There is a spiritual economy that governs victory in the believer’s life, and one of its highest currencies is grace. Grace is not merely God’s disposition of kindness toward men; grace is divine enablement—the help of God made available to mortal men so they can accomplish eternal purposes.

The scripture says “find grace to help.” This reveals that grace is not always automatic; it must be accessed, received, and appropriated.

1. THE THRONE IS NOT OF JUDGMENT, BUT OF GRACE

The Bible does not call it a throne of condemnation. It does not call it a throne of punishment. It is called the throne of grace.

This is powerful because it tells us that:

  • God’s posture toward the believer is not hostility

  • God’s government toward His children is mercy-driven

  • Weakness is not an excuse to run away, but a reason to come closer

Many believers fail, not because grace is unavailable, but because they approach God wrongly—with fear instead of faith, guilt instead of confidence.

Boldness here is not arrogance; it is confidence rooted in Christ’s finished work.

2. MERCY DEALS WITH THE PAST, GRACE EMPOWERS THE PRESENT

The verse reveals a divine order:

  1. Obtain mercy

  2. Find grace to help

Mercy addresses yesterday—your failures, mistakes, and inadequacies.
Grace empowers today—it gives you strength to stand, to run, and to win.

You cannot effectively receive grace if you have not first embraced mercy.
Many believers are forgiven but still condemned in their conscience—and condemnation blocks the flow of grace.

3. GRACE IS SITUATIONAL — “IN TIME OF NEED”

God does not waste grace. There is specific grace for specific seasons.

  • Grace to endure trials

  • Grace to resist temptation

  • Grace to serve faithfully

  • Grace to finish strong

The Bible says “find grace to help in time of need.”
This means:

  • There is grace for pressure

  • There is grace for transition

  • There is grace for delay

  • There is grace for spiritual warfare

Whatever season you are in, there is a dimension of grace allocated to that season.

4. GRACE MUST BE FOUND — THROUGH INTENTIONAL SEEKING

You do not stumble upon grace accidentally. Grace is found at the throne.

This speaks of:

  • Prayer

  • Fellowship

  • Alignment

  • Dependence on God

Any believer who lives prayerlessly will eventually live gracelessly.
And any believer who lacks grace will soon lack strength.

5. THE HELP OF GRACE MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

What human effort cannot achieve, grace accomplishes effortlessly.
Grace does not replace responsibility, but it multiplies effectiveness.

When grace comes:

  • Weak men do mighty things

  • Ordinary people produce extraordinary results

  • Burdens become light

  • Yokes are destroyed

Grace is why men rise beyond their background, their limitations, and their history.

CLOSING CHARGE

Do not endure what grace can empower you to overcome.
Do not struggle where help has already been provided.

Run to the throne—not when you are strong, but especially when you are weak.

Because at that throne:

  • Mercy restores you

  • Grace empowers you

  • Help is guaranteed

And you will not come back empty.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Prayer for Bold Access to God’s Throne
"Father, I come boldly into Your presence, not in my own strength, but in the confidence of Jesus Christ. Let no fear, shame, or condemnation hinder me from receiving Your mercy and grace. I declare that I shall not be timid in seeking Your help in every area of my life."

2. Prayer for Mercy to Cover the Past
"Lord, thank You for Your mercy that forgives, restores, and heals. Wash me clean from every past mistake, failure, and guilt that has been holding me back. Let Your mercy pave the way for Your grace to operate powerfully in my life today."

3. Prayer for Grace in Times of Need
"Father, I release my dependence on my own strength and receive Your grace. Help me in the exact moments when I feel weak, overwhelmed, or incapable. Let Your supernatural help be made manifest in every challenge, trial, and opportunity in my life."

4. Prayer for Continuous Supply of Grace
"Lord, let Your grace never run out in my life. Let it increase daily to meet my spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. Teach me to live in constant dependence on You, so that every weakness becomes a stage for Your power to be displayed."

5. Prayer for Transformation through Grace
"Father, let the grace I receive not only help me survive but also transform me into the person You created me to be. Empower me to walk victoriously, serve faithfully, and impact others with the life-changing power of Your grace. Let Your help in my time of need produce fruit that glorifies Your name."

Resistances Melt Like Wax

Resistances Melt Like Wax

From The Teaching Ministry of Dr Joel Dabbas

Text: Psalms 97:5
“The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.”

Introduction:

Beloved, this morning, I feel in my spirit that God is about to break down every resistance in your life. Every barrier, every limitation, every wall that has stood in your way is about to melt like wax in His presence! I want to declare over you today that there is a divine wind of transformation sweeping over your life, and nothing will be able to stand against it. The Word of God says, “The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord.”

What does that mean for you? It means that the hardest, most stubborn situations, the toughest battles you’ve been fighting, are about to bow to the power of God. Resistance will melt before His glory.

Let us pray: Father, we thank You for Your presence here today. We thank You because where Your presence is, resistance must melt. Today, we invite Your presence to move in power and break every chain. In Jesus' name, Amen.

1. Understanding Resistance:

Resistances in life come in many forms. They could be in the form of limitations, challenges, obstacles, or strongholds. These resistances often feel immovable, unshakable. You’ve prayed, you’ve fasted, you’ve believed, but yet, that mountain still stands tall before you.

But I’m here to tell you, that mountain is not your portion! Every resistance that rises up against the will of God in your life is about to bow down. Why? Because when the Presence of God shows up, resistance is forced to melt.

The hills, as described in our text, were not just small mounds of dirt. No, these were mighty mountains—tall, imposing, and seemingly indestructible. But in the presence of the Lord, these mountains melted like wax.

I don’t know what mountain you’ve been staring at, beloved, but I declare today that it is melting in the presence of the Lord!

2. The Power of God's Presence:

What causes these mighty hills to melt? It’s the presence of the Lord. It’s not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. When the presence of God enters a situation, everything that resists the purpose of God is compelled to yield.

You may be wondering, How do I invite God's presence into my situation? The answer is simple: live in a posture of worship, prayer, and surrender. The presence of God is not just a feeling or an atmosphere; it’s a reality that changes everything.

Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people. When you begin to praise, when you begin to pray, when you begin to worship, you are inviting the very presence of God into your circumstance. And when His presence shows up, resistance cannot remain.

3. Resistance Melts Like Wax:

Let’s look closely at the imagery in our text. The Bible says the hills “melted like wax.” This is significant because wax has a certain property—it is hard, solid, and unyielding until it comes into contact with heat. When the heat touches it, it begins to soften, lose its form, and eventually, melt away.

In the same way, when the fire of God’s presence touches your resistance, it begins to melt. It begins to lose its power over you. The things that once seemed impossible, the situations that once felt hopeless, will melt away under the heat of God’s glory.

If there’s one thing I know, it’s this: The hotter the presence of God, the faster the resistance melts.

I believe God is about to release His fire over every situation that has stood in your way. That situation that has been resisting you for years, I declare that it is melting today. That financial mountain, that health challenge, that family problem, that relationship struggle—whatever it is, I declare it is melting like wax in the presence of the Lord!

4. What Do We Do When Resistance Melts?

Beloved, the Word of God encourages us to do one thing: Trust in the Lord and His power. It is His presence that does the work, and when it comes, it leaves no trace of resistance behind.

Let me remind you of a powerful truth: resistance is never meant to defeat you; it is meant to reveal the power of God. There are things you cannot learn on the mountaintop of comfort. There are lessons you can only learn when you face resistance. But when God steps in, He doesn’t just break the resistance, He uses it for His glory and your good.

Romans 8:28 says, *“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.”*

This means that even the resistance you face right now is part of God’s sovereign plan to bring about His purpose in your life. He’s not just trying to remove the resistance for the sake of comfort, but He’s using it to shape you, strengthen you, and prepare you for something greater. When He steps in and melts that resistance, it’s not just to give you relief, but to give you victory!

5. The Victory is Yours!

As the resistance melts away, you step into a place of victory. You step into the fullness of God’s purpose for your life. You begin to walk in the freedom that was always yours but was held back by that resistance. And in that place of victory, you begin to understand the truth of Psalm 97:5 in a deeper way:

“The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.”

Your mountains are not just melting; they are being reduced to nothing in the presence of the One who created them. He is the Lord over all the earth. He is the Creator and the Master of everything. Every resistance that has tried to stand in the way of His plan for your life has to yield to His supremacy. It’s time for you to rise up and claim your victory.

6. Living in the Aftermath of Melting Resistance:

Once resistance has melted, what comes next? Beloved, we are called to live in the freedom that comes with the melting of every obstacle. When God removes a mountain, don’t go back and build it again in your mind. Don’t allow fear, doubt, or unbelief to resurrect the very thing God has obliterated.

When that wall of resistance falls, you are to walk through with boldness and confidence, knowing that God is for you and not against you. The Word says that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us (Romans 8:37). That means, after the resistance melts, you reign in that area of your life. You are not just surviving; you are thriving.

Conclusion:

Beloved, I feel a stirring in my spirit today. I want you to believe that every resistance in your life will melt like wax in the presence of the Lord. It is not by your own strength, but by the power of His presence. And once that resistance has melted, you will rise higher than before.

Whatever it is that stands in your way today, know that it has no choice but to yield before the presence of the Almighty. You will see the manifestation of God’s glory in ways you’ve never imagined.

As we close, let me remind you that God's presence is not a far-off thing—it is available to you right now. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). When you press into His presence, those mountains melt. When you begin to worship, those hills lose their form. When you begin to declare His Word, those resistances have no choice but to fall away.

Now, I want you to lift up your hands and begin to declare over your life that every resistance—every obstacle, every challenge, every mountain—is melting like wax in the presence of the Lord!

Father, we thank You because there is no resistance that can stand against You. Today, we declare that every stronghold is coming down. Every mountain is melting in Your presence. We walk in victory, we walk in freedom, and we step into the fullness of Your purpose for our lives.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

God bless you.
