TOPIC: PRAYER AND ANSWER

SCRIPTURE: 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me - 2 Corinthians 9:12

MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 65:24

DIGGING DEEP: The reason we pray is not because it is a religious routine, it is because we want to know God's perspective over a matter. Any matter you bring before God does not fall on deaf ears, because if it matters to you, it also matters to God. Understand that you can't anticipate answers to prayers if you don't participate in prayers.
Prayer is gaining influence over the realm of the physical by engaging God.
Apostle Paul was having a challenge which he called "a thorn" but we notice that he went to pray to God fervently and continously. We deduce therefore that prayer is:
A. A platform of expressing your pain to God: "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me." Jabez had a thorn of curse in his flesh he called on God, Hannah had the thorn of barreness she called on God.
B. A platform where we recieve Divine counsel for the things in our lives: "And he said unto me..." His saying is the solution to your crying.
C. A link between problem and solution: "...for my strength is made perfect in weakness." There is answer and solution when you pray.
D. A place where we see beyond the problem: "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." Prayer changes our perspective about things. It changes you from complaining to been happy.
If you talk about the problem you are going through all the time you can't end it. But when you pray about it all the time, you are elevated above the issue and you see it from Divine perspective and not earthly perspective.
Walk with this light today:
1. NEVER TALK ABOUT A PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO GOD ABOUT. 
2. NEVER QUIT NOR GIVE UP ASKING GOD. 
3. SPEAK ONLY THE ANSWERS YOU HAVE RECIEVED FROM THE LORD. 
It is the caller that recieves answers not the talker. Because you can talk about it and not call for it.
There are times we pray and God's answer is an emphatic No! Beloved don't be heart broken God's No is still better than your yes. And your no is inferior to God's yes.
Finally, never allow any situation stop you from praying. Prayer gives you link to grace. Grace empowers you to overcome every weakness or issues of life.
I pray for you recieve grace to overcome anything threatening your life in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: I rebuke any demonic agent sponsoring pain in my life,  destiny, business, office and family now in the name of Jesus'.

TOPIC: THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE

SCRIPTURE: Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised - Proverbs 31:30

MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 1:7

DIGGING DEEP: What people celebrate most times are not the important things in life. To be physically beautiful but lack the fear of God is the worst deficiency in life.
What is the fear of God?
A. It is addiction to what is good and the allergy to what is evil.
B. It is allowing the laws of God to restrain our actions and intents (Genesis 42:18, Exodus 1:17).
C.  The fear of the Lord is acquiescing unto God's demands and commnands.
D. To fear God is to lead considering others.
Leadership without the fear of God is what breeds oppression.
E. To have the fear of the Lord is to live and act with the consequences of eternity in view.
Attraction and favour are not the most amazing things in life but the Fear Of The Lord. To have attraction without the fear of the Lord is what causes contraction that leads to the abortion of destiny.
Life full of favour without the fear of God lacks flavor. Nothing secures a future like the fear of the Lord.
The fear of the Lord makes it easy to walk in righteousness, holiness and empowers you to live according to the standard of God, but lack of it suffocates our love to stand upright for Him.
Beauty is limited, it fades, and it is fleeting but to last, remain relevant and significant comes through having the fear of the Lord.
Finally, destiny fulfilment is connected to having the fear of the Lord. Joseph was outstanding in Egypt, he rose from prejudice to popularity, from prison to the palace, and from been controlled to the throne. He fulfilled destiny because he had the fear of God.

PRAYER: O Lord let the Your fear fill my heart today in Jesus name.

LORD DELIVER ME FROM SELF CENTREDNESS

TOPIC: LORD DELIVER ME FROM SELF CENTREDNESS

SCRIPTURE: And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth - Genesis 11:4

MEMORY VERSE: 2 Timothy 3:1

DIGGING DEEP: There are couple of things we do and we think that God is happy or glorified with it. But the fact is that it does not even strike a cord in the realm of the spirit. Because according to the mathematical law which says that "when the premise is wrong the answer will definately be wrong. So it is with our walk with God, if our mindset is wrong we get nothing out of it.
For instance some people go on fasting just to show how spiritual they are, there are people who study Scriptures not because they love the word but to be able to intimidate others. There are equally those who serve and work hard in Church so that everyone that sees them will praise or appreciate them. There are people who sing not to bless the listeners but to show how good they can sing.
Beloved there are Pastors who are presssured into prophesying when God has not spoken or when it is not there gifting. Seeking relevance outside God is like a fish trying to live outside water.
So many to mention, but the truth is that if anything we do for God have a self undertone or attachment in it, it becomes worthless and valueless before God. Been selfless is not having a stake in what you do for God.
Our text reveals three levels of self centredness:
1. SECULARISM: "And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven..." A show of lack of regards for God and for such people God doesn't matter. They exclude God from their existence. To them what matters is what is it accepted secularly? There are preachers who are like this they support gay rights, homosexualism and others just because it is secularly okay.
2. NARCISSISM: "...and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." It is a demonic charater of ego that says that all that matters is me. This is Thinking highly of one self and totally engrossed in the pursuit of vainglory. It is what caused lucifer to fall.
3. INDIVIDUALISM: "...and let us make us a name..." It is a habit of others don't matter so long as it does not affect you.
You must stand and weed off any form of self centredness in your life. Self centredness always have a way of drawing one against God and makes one think and do things that are anti God. Things that make you say forget God let us deal with this matter intellectually is all self centredness, self reliance and this scatters people.
I pray that self be dead indeed and Christ becomes alive in you in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: O Lord deliver me from my self in Jesus' name.

UNLOCKING DIVINE STANDARD

TREASURES OF GRACE (DAILY DEVOTIONAL)
SATURDAY, 8TH JULY 2017

TOPIC: UNLOCKING DIVINE STANDARD. 

SCRIPTURE:  So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him - Isaiah 59:19

MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 105:15

DIGGING DEEP: If you are a child of God, no enemy from the pit of hell is permitted around your perimeter. This is because the standard of the Lord on you.
What is a standard?  A standard is a flag, an emblem or sign indicating the presence of a sovereignty. It is used to indicate ownership and rulership. So it is in the realm of the spirit. Anyone that is born again has a sign that he/she is under the sovereign rulership of God and that this territory (life) belongs to the kingdom of God.
God naturally will defend those who have given Him legality in their lives and won't allow the enemy consume such.
Our anchor Scripture reveals three (3) ways of unlocking the standard of God in our lives:
1. BE BORN AGAIN AND BE FILLED: Ephesians 1:13 says that "In Christ ye also trusted after ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, in Whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise." It implies that after you recieved the word of grace and you became born again, you are marked with the Holy Ghost. Any born again experience that does not invite the Holy Ghost into you is incomplete. Today be filled with the Holy Ghost in Jesus' name.
2. HAVE REVERENCE FOR GOD'S NAME: It is having honour and regard for the name of Jesus. In the world today many people use the name of the Lord in decieving and swindling people. People lie using the name of the Lord. Some profess the name of Jesus but are agents of darkness and epitome of wickedness. Having reverence for His name is representing His personality, guiding His integrity and not abuse it (Exodus20:7 NLT). 
3. DAILY CRAVE AND WALK IN THE GLORY: The children of Isreal where unique in that they walked in the glory. The hollow and cloud of glory was with them both day and night (Exodus 13:21). The glory realm is the atmosphere of His presence around our life, crave for it and walk in it.
Finally, becoming a legal territory of God, makes you terrorise the enemy (2 Chronicles 20:29). 

PRAYER: O Lord take over my life and make it Your legal territory in Jesus' name.

THE STANDARD OF GOD

TOPIC: THE STANDARD OF GOD

SCRIPTURE: Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders - Isaiah 49:22

MEMORY VERSE: Leviticus 26:14-15

DIGGING DEEP: Many nations have standards which are bodies of rules that guides and regulates quality of products, services and organizations. For instance if you buy a brand new tyre and discovered that it has a low standard grade, you won't like to use it, not because it is not new but because it is below standard and so it is dangerous for use. In the same vein God has standards and living below His standard is dangerous to a successful walk with God.
Keeping to the standard of God is a major prerequisite to fulfilment in life and in eternity.
Jesus is our perfect example and model if we must maintain the standard of God. Let us examine three out of many standard of God as seen in Jesus:
1. Living Holy despite Temptations: Hebrews 4:15 says "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." The standard of God is to live above sin and not to keep falling and rising every now and then. The devil himself came to tempt the Lord Jesus in every way but He didn't fall. Beloved, temptation is only a question, your response is the answer.
2. A Passionate Prayer Life: Mark 1:35 says, "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed." Praying prayers that is almost always based on 'God give me and God forgive me' has no power for spiritual development and growth. Jesus used prayer arena as a time to be with God, to relate with the Father and pour out Himself has He pours Himself into Him. Prayer is beyond asking, it is a platform of relationship with God in which you pour out yourself before God and He is pours Himself into you.
3. Drown In The Fathers Assignment: John 2:17 says "...The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up."
Fulfilling Gods standards entails that
God's assignment become our daily priority. When we are drown in the Lords assignment we get our daily Divine Destiny Consignment.
Keeping God's standard makes you stand out for God where ever you find yourself.
I pray for you, recieve the capacity to carry and maintain God's standard every where you go in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: FAITH AND VISION

SCRIPTURE: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God - Hebrews 12:2

MEMORY VERSE: Hebrews 11:1

DIGGING DEEP: Faith is the capacity not to only trust in God, but to have the capacity to act and do what God does. Because the life of faith is the God life and the only way God does things.
Faith is the capacity to focus and relate with Jesus and not the realities of life.
There is a connection between vision and faith. Because what you look at either inspires fear or faith. Sotherefore, when you look unto Jesus faith is relinguished and fear is extinguished.
If you have faith in man, in giftings, talents your credentials it is useless faith. Faith is not earthly focused, it is focused upon Christ. Christ is seated in glory hence if your faith is on Him,  you will draw from the treasures of His glory.
Faith seems weak today because it is either people don't look or they don't look well at Jesus. Our anchor Scripture says " Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..." The meaning of this is that:
1.  If we must succeed in our walk of faith, we must look at Jesus. We must copy Him.
2. Faith is strengthened when our gaze and total attention is fixed on Christ.
3. Jesus is the provider and completer of faith.
4. Any faith that does not have Jesus as the focus is fake.
The Isrealites where attacked by a serpent and people were dying in Numbers 21:8 God told Moses to make a serpent and place it on a pole, so that anyone that look at it will live. Those that kept looking at it did not die, but those that turned there eyes off it died. And this act was a shadow of Christ on the cross (John 3:14-15). Focussing on Jesus is the cure to the poison of sin and death on the soul of man.
How do you look unto Jesus? The easiest way to fix our gaze upon Him is by knowing Him. Secondly by searching the Bible. Thirdly, by relying upon His promises. Fourtly, by obeying to do His commands. Finally, by daily communion with Him.

PRAYER: O Lord i fix my eyes upon you increase my faith in you in Jesus' name.

THE SHIELD OF FAITH

TOPIC: THE SHIELD OF FAITH

SCRIPTURE: In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one - Ephesians 6:16 (HCSB). 

MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 3:3

DIGGING DEEP: I want you to put this to heart today that "to be faithless is to be shieldless and to be shieldless is to be defenceless."
So long as the devil has not been bound into the bottomless pit, wickedness will still persist on earth. Wickedness is the mechandise of the devil and wicked people. It is their cheap occupation. Why many today are easy targets of wickedness is because they don't go about with their shield. But for you reading right now your shield is restored now.
Three characteristics of the shield of faith:
1. THE SHIELD IS THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE: In immunology the skin in the first line of defense against invading organisms, so is our faith.
Understand that the devil will always test your faith first, secondly the devil does not fire ordinary arrows, he fires flaming arrows.
2. FAITH GUARDS: Beloved it is deadly not to be shielded Psalms 3:3 says "But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me ; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head." In essence when a person is not shielded the glory of that person is attacked and no lifting. Everyday the enemy is going about looking for glories to destroy and people to put down one way to guard against the enemy is by having your shield of faith.
3. A SHIELD DEFLECTS: The shield of faith does not prevent the devil from shooting arrows, it also does not prevent the arrows from coming close to you (that is what is called the testing of your faith) but it prevents the arrows from touching you. When the arrows come they bounce back and goes back to the sender. I decree today any arrow of death, arrow of shame, disgrace, moneylessness, helplessness, sickness, delay, lack of favour, spell or curses sent to you and it is wasting your glory and rising i decree they are returned back to the sender now in the name of Jesus. On the strength of God's word that says "the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous" (Psalm125:3), no arrow of wickedness is permitted in your life in Jesus' name.
Remember beloved "to be faithless is to be shieldless and to be shieldless is to be defenceless."

PRAYER: O Lord i take on the shield of faith today and i overcome every satanic arrows flying in the atmosphere in Jesus' name.
