TOPIC: CEASELESS PRAYER
SCRIPTURE: Be unceasing and persistent in prayer - 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (AMP)
MEMORY VERSE: Philippians 4:6

DIGGING DEEP: You are a product of what you do regularly. Your habit speaks alot about your personality. Habits makes you and decides your future. It has been confirmed and reaffirmed that the habits you pick up determines if you will go up and also stay up. So picking prayer habit is very important to us as believers. This is because prayer is our tool to fellowshipping and communicating with God. The more we talk with God, the more He speaks to us. The more we commune with God the more we are immuned to occurrences of life.
Our anchor Scripture says that we must "pray without ceasing." This implies that:
a) Prayer must become habitual: Prayer must first become habitual before i will become effectual.
b) We must allow our lives to be shaped by prayer; and
c) It is building a prayer culture.
Prayer itself is an art learnt in the place of prayer. It is a weapon that is used only in prayer. It is a character practiced and developed in prayer.
THREE STEPS TO DEVELOPING A CEASELESS PRAYER HABIT
1. Delibrately trigger your spirit: You must deliberately activate prayer habit. Set a time to pray and committed to it, place reminder on your phone and also get like minded believers who want to develop too.
2. Routine: Don't start and stop do it persistently and continuously. This builds stamina and makes it your character.
3. Reward: The benefit you gain from praying is enormous. It builds Spiritual capacity, it strengthens you, it increases your intimacy with God, and takes you to the realm of supernatural answers amongst others.
Remember this: The more you prayer the more effectual and powerful you become Spiritually.
I pray for you, grow into the realm of ceaseless prayer.

ACCOUNTABILITY

TREASURES OF GRACE (Daily Devotional)

TOPIC: ACCOUNTABILITY
SCRIPTURE: But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment - Matthew 12:36
MEMORY VERSE: Romans 14:12

DIGGING DEEP: Beloved our words are extremely important Matthew 12:34-35 says that  "...how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."
Nothing reveals the heart of man like his words. Our word is a picture of what we look like inside there. The sort of treasure stored in our hearts determines the pleasure we enjoy.
Understand that the state of your heart determines the state of your life. And the product of your heart is your words. If you are careless with words, you are careless with life. If you are careless about life you are abusing the giver of life.
So to know you check your words, and to correct you, you must correct what your heart contains.
Our anchor Scripture reveals that, God will hold us responsible for every word we speak. God is interested in every detail of our lives, surprisingly He keeps records of what we say. The word "idle or careless" here means inoperative or unproductive words. Every unproductive life is a product of unproductive words. Don't waste your life speaking what is not in line with God. Many people spend time backbiting, slandering,  mocking, lying and gossiping this is not only time wasting but life wasting. Psalm 19:14 says "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." There is a connection between our heart and our mouth. I mean a strong connection between who we are and what we say. What we meditate on regularly is what we duplicate out physically. What you contain is what you will download.
One day you and i will give account of what we say here on earth hence we don't have to speak carelessly.
I pray for you, may the Lord break you away from unproductive words and life in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: O Lord help me to maximize life and the words i speak in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: THE POWER OF TESTIMONY
SCRIPTURE: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death - Revelation 11:12
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 89:1

DIGGING DEEP: Testimony is a show or display of what God can do. For instance whenever there is a car fare i like visiting because i get to see products from different minds, not only that i also see the creativity and improvement of automobile. For instance when i look at a ford product it shows me the victory and abilities of Mister Ford. So it is with our testimony. You see whenever you buy and drive that car you trust Mr Ford and believe that this product won't disappoint you, that is exactly how it plays out with testimonies. So everyday we have to believe and fuel our believe with absolute trust that testimonies is working again.
Testimonies are arrows of faith that hunts down miracles for you. So the more you testify the more the miracles.
It is a show of humility and total acknowledgment that it isn't you but God that is working out these things in your life.
If you are not testifying, you are hoarding the goodness of God.
Testimony is the secret of overcomers. If you want to overcome then you must testify.
Testimony is God intervening in our lives and making things that are impossible possible.
It is a Supernatural tool use it. If you desire intervention in your marriage, business, academics, seeking job, and so on begin to wholeheartedly testify of God's goodness and see God do for you what no man can do. Testimonies engaged is miracles released.
God always respond when He is glorified, He responds when we extol Him before men, He rises up for us when we testify of His works and attributes. Psalm 89:1 David said "I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations." You too can do this.
Today return back with mega testimonies in Jesus' name
PRAYER: O Lord give me a mind blowing testimony today. Give me the attitude of gratitude to testify of Your great works in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: THE WORD OF GRACE
SCRIPTURE: And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified - Acts 20:32
MEMORY VERSE: John 1:1

DIGGING DEEP: Our anchor Scripture defines the word of God as "the word of his grace" that is to say that the word of God is the embodiment of His Grace. It means that the word of God is the revealer of the manifold dimensions of the personality of God, His character and His abilities. The word of God contains divine rules that is to make you rule in life. Because every word from the Most High takes you out of the most low levels of your life. The word of God is the channel through which the grace of our Lord is communicated into our lives.
The word of God is a balanced diet for the spirit, soul and body. The word of God has everything we need for life and godliness. Everyone that desires to grow must fellowship with the word of God. No Child just tries to grow, they just eat, and, they grow. "... the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified." It suggests three things: 
a) No word of God, no growth: Our development in the spirit is to the level of the word we literally eat not merely read. Yes! To merely read is different from eating the word. To read is to be conversant with the word without drawing virtues from it, but to eat the word is to place the word into you, digest it and allow it circulate in every sphere and sysytems of your life until you grow into a rock solid personality in the spirit.
b) Our build up in the spirit realm is according to the work out we do with the word: The level to which we exercise the word of God in us will definitely influence our outlook in the spirit.
c) Our access to the inheritance we have in Christ Jesus is accessible through the word of grace: The neglect of the word of God is the neglect of our inheritance in God. When we fellowship with the word then we find access to our inheritance in Him.
Understand that this inheritance is common amongst saints, that is to say that it is what all believers have access into and it is for everyone child of God to enjoy. What differentiates you from another believer is in what you have accessed in God via His word for instance we have an inheritance of healing in Christ Jesus because "by His stripes, you are healed" but many people still stay sick but whenever the light and understanding of this inheritance gets a hold of you, you will never be bed mate with ill health anymore. No matter the scientific backing of any disease or sickness, you stay healed and healthy. You don't have to suffer when Christ has paid it all for you.
Finally, there is no part of you that the word of grace can not build, just name it from your spirit to character to finance to relationship. Just say it this way that nothing gives you a balanced life like the revelation of the word of God.
Remember that: No word, no growth. No growth, no impact
I pray for you today, that may the Lord of all grace build you up in every area of your life through His words in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: O Lord build me up in Your word in Jesus' name.

NO LONGER

TREASURES OF GRACE (Daily Devotional)
SATURDAY, 11TH FEBRUARY 2017

TOPIC: NO LONGER 
SCRIPTURE: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me - Galatians 2:20
MEMORY VERSE: Galatians 5:16

DIGGING DEEP: God's plan to give us victory over sin is by putting us to death. I know your heart skipped a bit, but i mean that God wants us crucified and dead to sin (Romans 6:11). This is important because:
1. A dead man is not tempted to sin.
2. It doesn't matter the type of temptation placed before him, he will never respond to it.
Our anchor Scripture states that "it is no longer i that lives, but Christ that lives in me". This implies that:
A. I stop living for myself and start living for Him.
B. I lost control and authority over my body and am now the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in me.
C. I don't own myself anymore, I have been bought with a price, and i exist only to glorify God in my spirit, soul and body.
Most Christians don't understand this and so they are part time Christians. That is why they are traditional believers who come to church, warm the seats, sing the songs, listen to the Word without having true fellowship with God and they feel that they have fulfilled a weekly spiritual obligation. Hence few hours into the week they belong to Jesus, the rest is the theatre of the pursuit of their own desires and will.
Understand this, believing in your heart and confessing Jesus is one part and making Him your Lord is another part. Many end up just accepting Him as Saviour and don't acknowledge Him as their Lord.
Every true child of God has renounced and hands off his control over his life and have totally submitted himself to follow the orders of Jesus.
This is what the Lordship of Christ is all about. Been saved is wonderful but moving into His Lordship over your life is wonderfully powerful, indeed it is super-awesome. It is the hallmark of our day to day walk with God. It is the major secret of divine encounters. If Jesus Christ is truly my Lord, then I must trust and obey Him absolutely, and strive to please him in every way.
The Apostles understood this and that is why they speak of themselves as "bond servants of Jesus Christ" (Romans 1:1, James 1:1, II Peter 1:1, Jude 1:1). The Lordship of Jesus is then to have all your beign bond to our Lord Jesus. In this your will is gone, your desires are distilled away, your ego and name is submitted to Him. It is a state of absolute and total surrender where all you are is His and all of Him is now yours.
I want you today also to totally come under the Lordship of Jesus. So declare this, "I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

PRAYER: O Lord i refuse to live my life on my own premise. I live for you alone in Jesus' name.

CURING THIS CANCER

TOPIC: CURING THIS CANCER
SCRIPTURE: Everyone who sins is breaking God's law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God - 1 John 3:4 [NLT]
MEMORY VERSE: 1 John 5:17

DIGGING DEEP: We are not of this world, we are citizens of the kingdom of God. Every kingdom has three things in common which are the king, the people and her laws. If you are under the jurisdiction of any kingdom it behoves you to totally know, understand and obey the laws of the king. So it is with the kingdom of God, we are to obey the laws of our Lord and King. In fact the kingdom is not tolerant of sinners (1 Corinthians 6:5 and Ephesians 5:5). God loves sinners but hate what they do and that is why we must ask for help and strength against the enemy of our eternal rest with God. We must strife to also win souls for God warning them of the danger ahead just as Noah the first evangelist did. Even if they refuse to listen we must keep at it.
What makes sin dangerous
1. It poisons our relationship with God (Genesis 3:8-10)
2. It's reward is death (Romans 6:23)
3. It pulls one out of divine inheritance(1 Corinthians 6:5)
Our anchor Scripture today states that "Everyone who sins is breaking God's law." You must understand that obeying Gods laws is what connects you to His blessings (Deuteronomy 11:13 -15,  28:1-2), it gives justification (Romans 2:13) and it is what approves you before God. So therefore to be lawless is to evict ourselves from the promises and blessings of God for our lives.
REMEMBER: No one can effectively live sin free if the person haven't accepted Jesus as Lord and God of their lives. And no one can obey His laws if they are not under His governance and rulership. If you haven't accepted Jesus say this prayer "Lord i am sorry, forgive me of my sins, i acknowledge that Jesus died for me and i come to day to obey and be ruled be you henceforth in Jesus' name."
I pray for you today that the Lord will keep you strong and may you enjoy grace to ride over sin in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER: O Lord i confess and declare today that i refuse to live a lawless life. Every besetting sin that weighs me down i offload from my life now in Jesus' name. I put on the garment of righteousness, holiness, purity and the total nature of God. I decree today i won't miss heaven for nothing in Jesus' name.

THE LIVING DEAD

TOPIC: THE LIVING DEAD
SCRIPTURE: Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord - Romans 6:11
MEMORY VERSE: Romans 6:7

DIGGING DEEP: It has been shown that we can live sin free life because Jesus our perfect example, Bible said that He knew no sin. Apart from Christ, all people are spiritually dead. The anchor Scripture said we should "be dead to sin" this is different from been dead in sin. To be dead in sin is to be in a state in which the soul is dead, conscience is gone, the spirit of the air is in total rulership and the power of sin is in absolute control (Ephesians 6:1-2); but to be dead to sin is the state that we can not be influenced by the attractions of sin. At this state sin is not appealing nor attractive unto you anymore. As he who is dead in the natural sense, has nothing more to do with earthly things, so he who is dead to sin has nothing to do any more with sin's attractions or with sinning itself.
That "I can sin and  I will repent later" mindset shows that you are still alive to sin.
Three implications from our text are:
1) The obstacle to living the God kind of life is  been alive to sin.
2) The secret of getting access to God is His life through Jesus Christ
3) Reckon (esteem and value) the work of Christ in dealing with the sin issue in the human race.
God wants us to be lifeless to sin and all of it's attractions, we must totally loose the ability to respond to the urge, stimulus or temptation to sin. So that we become an absolute walking dead to sin but awakened to God in righteousness. Which means to be altogether active and on the alert to do his will; to make our whole lives a perpetual offering to Him, serving Him and become an holy sacrifice that is acceptable unto God.
I decree that you receive the grace to be totally dead unto sin in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: O Lord, i receive grace to live above sin always in Jesus' name.
