CHANNELS OF THE SPIRIT: UNLOCKING THE TREASURES OF HEAVEN

There are spiritual apertures within every man’s being—windows and gateways within our soul—that determine the flow of divine or earthly forces in our lives. Jesus said, “It is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out of him” (Mark 7:15). This profound statement speaks to the reality that it is the inner channels of our spirit that dictate the nature of our thoughts, emotions, and actions. It’s not just about external influences; it’s about the gateways of the soul—the spiritual systems within us—that determine whether we align with God’s divine purposes or yield to the forces of darkness.

The Channels of the Spirit: Entry Points for Divine or Demonic Forces

Within every individual, there are divine entry points designed to usher in the very presence of God, His wisdom, His power, and His grace. These spiritual apertures are not automatic; they must be intentionally opened to receive the fullness of God. And yet, there are also channels in the human spirit that can open to negative influences—the systems within us that, when opened to evil, allow corruption, sin, and destruction to take root.

The question is: What channels are you opening in your life?

When the channels of your spirit are opened to God, you invite His presence to flood your soul, transforming your inner being into a dwelling place for His glory. But if those channels are opened to the world, the flesh, or the enemy, the result is spiritual dryness, decay, and an inability to walk in the fullness of your identity as a child of God.

The Closed Spirit: Rejection of Divine Influence

There are those whose hearts have become hardened, whose spirits have closed themselves off to God. Revelation 3:20 offers us a divine invitation: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” The God of heaven, the Creator of the universe, desires to enter into fellowship with us. However, for that to happen, we must open the door of our hearts, allowing His presence to fill the chambers of our spirit. But when these entry points are shut, when we resist or reject the things of God, His presence cannot come in. There are spiritual barricades that prevent His flow from reaching our inner man.

When the spirit is closed off, a person may experience a sense of emptiness or lack of direction. The soul may hunger for something deeper, but there is no access to the divine nutrients that nourish the spirit. Spiritual dryness is the fruit of a heart that has resisted God’s invitation to commune with Him. The soul may be filled with anxiety, confusion, and a sense of longing, yet the deeper things of God remain locked out.

Opening the Channels: A Call to Divine Subjection

But there is hope. The channels of the spirit can be opened, and when they are, they become conduits through which the very treasures of heaven flow into your life. When the spirit is yielded to God, the kingdom of God manifests within you. This is why divine subjection—surrendering to God’s will—is crucial. To be under divine subjection is to position yourself in a place where God’s light can enter and fill every area of your life. His wisdom, understanding, and power are released into your being when you humble yourself before Him, when you pray, when you fast, and when you study His Word.

This is not just a passive experience; it requires active pursuit. The spiritual channels that will allow God to move powerfully in your life do not open automatically—they require your cooperation. The Bible says, “If you seek Me, you will find Me; if you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). This is a promise! But the seeking, the longing, the desperation for God’s presence must come from within you.

The Flow of Wisdom, Grace, and Power

When the channels of your spirit open to God, your life will begin to reflect the virtues of the kingdom of heaven. The more you open yourself up to God, the more His divine nature saturates every part of your being. His wisdom will begin to flow into you in ways that surpass human understanding. What once seemed like a mystery becomes clear. His knowledge will guide your decisions, and His understanding will shape your responses to life’s challenges.

Opening the channels of your spirit to the power of God will result in the rushing of His grace. Divine abilities, once dormant, will come alive. The supernatural becomes natural. You’ll begin to walk in realms of authority, grace, and favor that you never thought possible. When God enters the chambers of your heart, He transforms everything. You don’t just walk in the knowledge of His will; you walk in the power to fulfill that will.

Desire, Pursue, and Open the Channels

If you desire to walk in the fullness of God’s will and experience His glory, you must make it your priority to open the channels of your spirit to Him. This is a process of intentionality. Open your heart through prayer. Open your heart through fasting. Open your heart through the study of the Word. As you do this, the light of God will begin to illuminate every dark area of your soul, revealing hidden truths, stirring up dormant gifts, and awakening you to the higher calling of God on your life.

Desire it. Pursue it. And most importantly, pray for it. Pray that the channels of your spirit will remain open to the flow of the divine. Pray that your heart would be soft and receptive to the things of God, that the barriers of the flesh would be torn down, and that you would allow the Holy Spirit full access to every area of your being. When you do this, you will begin to experience God like never before. His presence will fill you to overflowing, and you will move in the power, wisdom, and grace of His kingdom.

Final Word: The Flow of Divinity Begins Within

There is a powerful truth we must come to realize: everything God desires to do in your life begins with the opening of the channels of your spirit. Your spirit is the gateway, the entry point, through which all of God’s treasures flow. If those channels are closed, the treasures remain locked away. But if they are opened, the heavens will pour into you.

So, I urge you today—open up your spirit to God. Let Him enter in. Allow the flow of heaven to fill every part of you. Seek His presence, His wisdom, and His grace. And when you do, you will begin to walk in dimensions of power and glory you never thought possible. The chambers of your soul will be full of the life and light of God, and you will become a vessel through which His divine presence can touch the world around you.
