LORD CAUSE ME TO LAUGH

LORD CAUSE ME TO LAUGH

"And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me." Genesis 21:6, KJV

To laugh is an expression of joy, happiness and and gladness that is overwhelming.

The scripture told us that at 91 years Sarah gave birth and she began to laugh. This laugh was triggered by supernatural humour.
You know, there are things God will do for you that will be humorous. That the only way to respond is by laughing.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. —Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4, ESV

There are seasons for everything under heaven including time to laugh. And permit me to pray for you, in as much as life us a mixture of good times and bad times, may your good times be more and more than the bad times, in Jesus name.

Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. —Luke 6:21b, ESV

Types of laughter and triggers of laughter

The laughter of unimaginable doings of God

"And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. [2] For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. [3] And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. [4] And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. [5] And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. [6] And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me." Genesis 21:1-6, KJV

The unimaginable and incredible doings of God stimulates laughter. The doings of God can put you in a super frenzy mood.

The laughter of deliverance

"When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. [2] Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. [4] Turn again our captivity, O Lord , as the streams in the south. [5] They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. [6] He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." Psalm 126:1-2,4-6, KJV
Just imagine what state Joseph was the day God took him out of prison and made him the prime minister in Egypt. I can imagine he was in a state of hysteria, joy and celebration. Hear me as I hear God breakthroughs that will provoke joy, celebration and laughter is happening to you.
Supernatural answers that provokes laughter is released to you in Jesus Name

The laughter of exemption

"At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth." Job 5:22, KJV

When you look around you and see what is common amongst men but God separated you from it, you will be full of joy.

"When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person." Job 22:29, KJV

The laughter of uprightness

"Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man , neither will he help the evil doers: [21] Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing. [22] They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought." Job 8:20-22, KJV

The dealings of God with an upright person is unique and different. God will not cast away a righteous person, neither withhold help from him. This is to ensure that the life of the upright is full of joy and laughter. God masterminds the celebration, joy and laughter of His own.
When you see the righteous celebrate it is that they are celebrating the goodness, faithfulness and greatness of God in their lives.

The laughter of healing

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Proverbs 17:22, KJV

Years ago I prayed for a lady who was involved in an accident and had multiple fractures. It was so bad that her bladder and spinal cord were affected. She was condemned to the wheel chair by the doctor. Now, whilst I prayed in faith, as I left her my faith was dwindling. But when I left her, she told herself Pastor said I can walk again  in her head she heard the voice of the doctor saying you can't walk again. She decided to respond to God by saying I can walk. She managed to push forward and fell down but her faith was strengthened the more. The people around helped her up thinkng that she fell by mistake. She got up and moved. That was a marvelous act of God restoring her again. I remember seeing her in church and all she could do was laugh.
I pray for you today, you will laugh over that affliction.
You will laugh over poverty
You will laugh over barreness
You will laugh over rising and falling
You will laugh over misfortune
Hallelujah!!
God is filling your mouth with laughter!!!

O LORD SHOW ME MERCY

LORD SHOW ME MERCY

"And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. [47] And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. [48] And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. [49] And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee."
Mark 10:46-49 KJV

The kingdom of God is in every believer but the gains of the kingdom is only possible by revelation. One of the keys to operating on a different Cadre in this realm is understanding. The more insight you have, the heavier and mightier the manifestations you will produce.
One of such mysteries you need is the revelation of the mercies of God. In
Exodus 33:19 God said "And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy." Although here God says that mercy is His prerogative to give, but we see from our anchor text that man can call upon God and He will show mercy.

Now, the prodigal son took the part of his inheritance, left for a distant country, and squandered all his father gave him on frivolous lifestyle. Again he made the decision to return home to his father and to become as one of his servants. His father took him back with joy and gladness not as a servant but his child. Despite messing up, he was taken back by mercy. Mercy does not only restrain judgment but helps our connection back to the Father.

What Mercy Means for Us

Mercy is liniency or compassion that forbears punishment even when justice demands it. In law, granting clemency, which is another word for mercy, depends entirely on the will of the grantor, who doesn’t have to give a reason for granting it.
God's mercy is one of the character of God that expresses His goodness to men.

Mercy and grace are similar but not the same. Let me explain it this way, grace is getting what we don’t deserve and mercy is not getting what we do deserve. In the parable, the son didn't get the rejection he deserved. In Christ, neither do we.

When you study the Bible, you will come to see the bounty and power of God’s mercy:

• Psalm 102:13 "Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come."

Mercy is a powerful vehicle needed to unveil new seasons. When you are at your kairos season and your season of favour, mercy is needed to ensure that it comes to pass

• Psalms 51:1 "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions."

Whenever you see the blood of Jesus what you see is the symbol of mercy. The pain and all Jesus paid for on the cross was on the cheque of mercy. Our eternal salvation and freedom from damnation was by mercy.

• Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions.”

Mercy brought the very life of God into us, to quicken our spirit so as to become alive unto righteousness.

• Hebrews 4:16 KJV
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Mercy grants us access into the throne room of grace. Whether you come to God in the morning, noon or night; mercy opens you into that eternal realm of God so that you have access into the manifoldness of God. That is why one of the things to plead for in the place of prayer is mercy.
Psalm 116:1 says that, the Lord “heard my cry for mercy.” so mercy opens the ears of God towards your prayers.

Mercy is what pulls you that is far from God to become a part of God. Mercy puts you on Gods' "To help and to reach" list. This means if that there is a person to be helped, raised, lifted and glorified by God, mercy puts you on the list.

Finally, the Hebrew word for mercy also translates into love. God’s love is endless, ageless and inexhaustible even with the growing population of human race because of His mercy.
Mercy is part of what makes the work of Christ eternally potent and active. Mercy makes Gods love transgenerational.

EL ROI

EL ROI

Genesis 16:13-14 KJV

"And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? [14] Wherefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered."

One of the greatest gifts is the ability to see. The gift of sight is one that cannot be traded. I remember when I was in primary school, i had a challenge with my vision,  it was so bad that I was not allowed to open my eyes. I was having plaster and couldn't  stay under the direct ray of the sun. This was because if I came under the sun i felt as if my eyes was going to come out. Until God miraculously healed me. This experience alone gave me a first hand chance to understand the value of sight or vision.

Now, one character of God is that He sees. Our God is not blind. Psalm 94:9 KJV says that "He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?"

This attribute also is a strong differential between God and other gods of the world.

Psalm 135:15-16 KJV states it clearly that "The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. [16] They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not."

From our lead text, we see Hagar praying and she mentioned El Roi (one of the names of God). In many situations and circumstances when we pray we tend to address God based on the specific need at hand. For instance when we ask God for for supply we call Him Jireh. Now, Hagar was having a very rough time and she prayed and called on El Roi.

El Roi means "The God who sees me." It can also further mean my Shepherd, the seeing God, or the one who is looking after me, or one whose gaze is on me. This is a powerful revelation of who God is to you and what He does to you. You are never out of His sight. If you feel forgotten, invisible and left all alone by everyone else. Just know that God sees you. He sees your struggles, and your pain; and He comes to help you. He sees your needs and if He could take care of the needs of the sparrows, He will take care of your needs.

I want you to note this two points:

1. The eyes of the Lord captured all your days on earth before you came into existence. So He sees you and knows everything about you.

"You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed" - Psalm 139:16 (New Living Translation)

2. The eyes of the Lord goes round the earth looking for those He will show Himself strong on their behalf.

2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV

"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars."

God is looking at you today to show you favour, mercy and uncommon help.

I encourage you today that El Roi sees that disappointments you are going through

El Roi sees that pain and shame around. He sees how you are being mocked.

God sees how the enemy tries to slow you down.

He sees your secret cry

He sees the efforts you are putting in to see that your life takes a major shift

He sees you and hear me He will respond to you!!

God cannot see and not fix

God cannot see and not help

God cannot see and not turn around

I pray for you today, El Roi is lifting you and changing your story for His glory in Jesus Name

NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD

NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD

All through Scripture (the Bible) are many proofs that points to the fact that nothing is too hard for God. From the opening of Scripture in Genesis 1:1 we see that God created this magnificent world from nothing all through to the very end in Revelation

22:21 KJV "The grace

(the manifold abilities of

God) of our Lord

Jesus Christ be with you

all Amen."

All reveals this truth unto

us.

Genesis 18:14 KJV says that

"Is any thing too hard for the Lord ? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

Jeremiah 32:17 KJV says

 that "Ah Lord God !

behold, thou hast made

the heaven and the earth

by thy great power and

stretched out arm, and

there is nothing too hard

for thee"

Jeremiah 32:26-27 KJV says that

"Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, [27] Behold, I am the Lord , the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"

Now, we see God

introducing Himself to us

as the "God of all flesh

whom nothing is too hard

for." I want you to note that

whenever God introduces

Himself to men, He does

that on three platforms:

1. He introduces Himself to us based on His nature or His person

2. He introduces Himself to us based on His ability or power

3. He introduces Himself to us based on His doings or acts. Especially what He has already done.

What does it mean when it is said that "Nothing is too hard for God?"

1. There is nothing too hard for God means that there is no difficulty or impossibility in or with God

2. There is nothing too hard for God means that what can overwhelm God does not exist and cannot exist

3. There is nothing too hard for God means that what can resist the might of God does not exist

4.  There is nothing too hard for God means that there is nothing too tough for God to handle

Examples of God handling hard situations

1. Lazarus was dead for 4 days, he was buried but when Jesus came He sent His word into the grave and pulled him back to life. John 11

2. Jesus was passing by and wanted to eat of a tree but there was no fruit, he cursed that tree and in less than 24 hours it withered away. Mark 11:14

3. Elizabeth the mother of John had passed child bearing age and boom God visited her and she had hers. Luke 1:7,24,57

4. Job lost everything but got supernatural restoration for all he lost. Job 42:12

5. The woman with an issue of blood for 12 years haven spent all her savings and wealth went broke but a step of faith toward Jesus,  that mysterious sickness that defiled medical intervention was arrested.

6. The paralytic man that was by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years was healed.

These and many more shows that there is nothing too hard for God.

Reasons why nothing is

hard for God:

1. Because He existed before everything was created

2. Because He is the all powerful and all knowing God

3. Because He has the solution and He is the solution Himself

Keys to enjoying the power of God that changes hard situations:

1. Have faith in God

Mark 11:22-23 KJV

"And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. [23] For verily I say unto you, That the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."

Faith anchored in God is one anchored in the realm of possibilities. Faith anchored on flesh, self, and human abilities is one anchored in the realm of impossibility.

Luke 1:37 KJV

"For with God nothing shall be impossible."

2. Have a deep connection with the Holy Spirit.

A Spirit filled life is one of possibilities.

Zechariah 4:6 KJV

"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts."

There many things that cannot be accomplished, changed or done when you operate in the flesh. It will take a switch into the supernatural to get it done.

3. Get connected and rooted in the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12 KJV

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

If it wasn't difficult for the Word of God to create the earth. It won't be hard for His Word to fix every hard situations in your life.

4. Prayer

Is a supernatural tool to accessing the supernatural.

 Hebrews 4:16 KJV

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

I want to encourage you today not to give up. God is handling that hard situation today.

PRAYER OF FAITH

1. Lord, thank You for revealing Yourself to me as One whom nothing is hard for. I comprehend and receive the performance of this word in my life today

2. Every hard situation in my life right now is turned around and solved in Jesus Name
