TOPIC: DEEP REALMS
SCRIPTURE: And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ancles.
Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over - Ezekiel 47:3-5
MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 42:7
DIGGING DEEP: Knowing God intimately and deeply should be our daily cry. There are realities in God that we can never know if our walk with Him is superficial. The deeper our walk with God the greater the level of grace we operate.
Going deeper in God should be your desire always. The deeper you go in/with God the more you grow higher in Him because the deeper the root bigger the tree.
Our anchor text describes different depth levels we will enjoy with God if we are willing.
1.The Ankle Deep Level: This is living at the shoreline. At this level we still have control over ourselves, over our actions and reactions; at ankle depth the waters of God’s Spirit are too shallow to control us.
2. The Knee Deep Level: Those at the kneel level are still conscious of themselves. They are spiritual tester's, as they try to check. They are full of spiritual pride and lack spirituality.
3. The Waist Deep Level: This level is the point where by our spiritual atmosphere is getting saturated. The danger here is that you are still aware of yourself and if you keep looking back at those at the other levels you will easily loose focus and commitment. The deeper you go in your relationship with God, the more reformed you become.
4. The Shoulder Deep Level: Until God gets your kneel, He can't get your shoulder. Shoulder is the ego in you, here He builds humility in you. You loose your abilities and allow God's ability to take over.
5. The Submerged Level: Where your head and whole body is drawn in Him. It this level you don't have time to look around and even notice anything you just keep diving and swimming. It is to be totally dead to self and alive unto God.
Beloved, the Presence of God in the Life of a Person is his/her greatest asset. It takes commitment to flow with God and to move through this levels. It is time to refuse to be superficial and grow deep in God. It is time to be totally submerged in God.
Remember, the deeper you are in God, the bigger you become.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask that You take me into a deeper walk with You.
