ACTIVATING THE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
TREASURES OF GRACE (Daily Devotional)

TOPIC: ACTIVATING THE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
SCRIPTURE: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it - John 14:14
MEMORY VERSE: Acts 8:12
DIGGING: The secret code to operate in the kingdom is through the name of Jesus. Let me paraphrase our text this way: "If you and I request/order/look for answers/ approach God to do anything for us in name of Jesus, it will be done." Understand that it does not refer to just ending prayers by saying "in Jesus Name" no it is far beyond that! The word "in" means three things location, level and position.
Location: If you don't find a place in Christ you can't have the authority in His Name. So location is your placement in Christ.
Level: If you have found Christ Jesus and you don't grow and change level in the Spirit you won't have full capacity to function in His Name. So level is your growth.
Position: Our position in Christ was handed to us by grace. Position is the platform from which we operate.
Beloved if we are well planted in Christ and we grow in Him we will function in His grace. Grace reveals the manifold power and abilities of God.
Many wants to function in the Name but have no relationship with the person who owns the Name (Acts 8:19-20). The level of the power you can command through the Name of Jesus is to the level of your growth in Him. Or put it this way the level of the authority you can handle is directly proportional to your growth in Him.
Remember this God does not respond to everyone who calls the Name of Jesus equally but He will respond fully if you are rooted and grounded in Christ; and you are actively growing in Him.
I pray for you today experience the power in the Name of Jesus.
PRAYER: O Lord help me to grow so I can handle more Spiritual authority in Jesus' name.
