TOPIC: QUALIFICATION FOR THE ANOINTING
SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power - Acts 10:38
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 23:5
DIGGING DEEEP: The anointing is the most important thing on earth. It is what differentiates a man. It is the secret of Supernatural existence. God is liberal but does not just pour out the anointing upon men just like that. There are criterial that qualifies you for it. Some of the criterial amongst others are:
1. Absolute abandonement: David was left in the bush. He was totally abandoned. This is revealed when Prophet Samuel came to anoint him. Even his father didnt remember that he existed. This is the major picture of the life of the anointed. You must be left alone. Leave every other thing.
2. Be a Servant: Psalm 89:20 says that "I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him." Anointing is for Servants and Servants are those who has given his all to serve. Nothing leaves God into your life until something leaves you unto Him. Your willingness ti serve God equals God's readiness to anoint you.
3. Be humble: Humility is a major channel to the flow of the anointing (James 4:6)
4. Pay the price: The anointing is not some cheap, it must cost you something real. It will cost you time, effort and dedication to God. Being in constant fellowship with God is costly. It will even cost you some friends and relationships. Every great man and woman of God has willingly paid the price for the anointing on their lives. The greater the cost the more anointing will flow.
5. It must be founded and grounded in love: The more you love God, the more you will be able to love His people, as well as the lost. Love is the bedrock for the anointing. Most times the healing anointing flow through Jesus to the people when compassion flows.
I pray for you, may the anointing from heaven come upon you heavily in Jesus' name.

OPEN MY EYES

TOPIC: OPEN MY EYES
SCRIPTURE: Then Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!" The LORD opened the young man's eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire - 2 Kings 6:17
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 119:18
DIGGING DEEEP: As a child of God, you operate within two realms which are the physical and the Spiritual. Interestingly, these two are not totally separated from each other. Infact the spiritual determines the physical. I mean the spiritual realm is the determinant of the activities of the physical realm.
One of the biggest and most evident spiritual pathologies amongst believers is the inability to see through the eyes of the Spirit.
Let's examine three types of sight in the Spirit:
1. Total blindness: John 12:40 "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and i should heal them." This is a state of complete inability to connect to Spiritual realities and truth. There are believers today who can't see nor understand what the Lord is saying. This type of people have hardened heart, lack understanding, and are not fully converted.
2. Partial Blindness: These are those who have little light in them.
3. Full sight: These are those whose heart is full of Illumination. They are open to the word of God and Heaven literally breaks open unto them.
Our text showed us that no matter the equipments and regimement of darkness arrainged against you, if you know and see what God has sorrounded you with, you won't fret nor give up. If you know what God has sorrounded you with, you won't surrender to depression, low levels, failure, disappointment, poverty, faithlessness and cowardice. Instead you will wake up in faith and dare the enemy to its marrow.
Finally, it is very important that you have a spiritual eyes that sees, so that you will survive in this dark age.
I pray that your eyes becomes full of light in Jesus' name.

SCRIPTURE: [24] Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain - I Cor. 9:24
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 108:13
DIGGING DEEEP: The Message Bible states our anchor Scripture this way "You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win." In essence you are enjoined to run to win, not even the second best is good enough. As a child of God, if participation is required winning should be your goal.
There is nothing to gain if there is nothing to run for. The link between obtaining your goal and not obtaining it is in what you do. If you are doing nothing, you will obtain nothing. What you are doing is the pay check for what you want to obtain. Until you keep at it, you can't keep up with it.
Today there are so many people on the spectator stand than on the track itself. They only prefer to clap and cheer rather than participate in the race itself. That is why you will hear people say "this spiritual thing is for the pastors" or "i am not called into ministry" and all sort of comments. That is why many are prayer seekers, prophecy mongers and are not power carriers. It is the same reason why many lack supernatural encounter because instead of engaging they are retreating. Instead of participating in the supernatural they merely watch it. Also there are folks who wish for everything and do nothing. These can't obtain what God has freely given.
Beloved, the goal of been alive is to get into heaven in the end, the reason why God gave you dreams is to accomplish it, the purpose you have a destiny is to fulfil it and the reason Jesus came is to have koinonia (intimacy and partnership with God). And all will of these will require commitment and action.
Finally, the gold is obtainable if dedication to the race is in view.
Recieve grace to achieve whatever God has for you in Jesus' name.
PRAYER: O Lord, i refuse to be a spectator but a participator in the race to destiny in Jesus' name.

LONGING FOR GOD

TOPIC: LONGING FOR GOD
SCRIPTURE: O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary - Psalm 63:1-2
MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 55:1
DIGGING DEEEP: Do you know there is a realm where by you are looking for God not because of what He can, or should or will do for you but because you just need Him. A point of total emptiness without Him. A state of reckless abandonment unto God.
Our longing for intimacy and closeness is evidence of our strong and driving need for God's presence!
If you have tasted God, you will want to taste Him over and over again. When we have tasted God, we want more of God (Psalm 34:8). Many followers of Jesus abandoned Him when He explained the spiritual principle of being hungry for God (John 6). Do you know that too often we are hungry to see the works of God and not hungry for Him? Being hungry for God is much harder than to be hungry for the works of God (what we need Him to do for us). Being hungry is an ongoing relationship to know God and His presence.
Those who long for what God should do for them can get disappointed and give up on God. But those who are hungry for the person of God can never give up on God. They trust Him in everything and for everything.
The secret to Supernatural dimensions is in hunger for God. Longing for God is the secret of deep and undisconnectable relationship with God. It is the secret to spiritual freshness.
Longing for God can be likened to the experience of been trapped in a building filled with smoke as soon as that individual comes into a ventilated area there is a longing for fresh air and for life. For such a one, nothing else matters, not what people are saying, who is looking at him or who is not. He is not interested in any other thing but desperately looking for life. So it is with longing for God. One in which anything other than God chokes you. It is a desperacy for revival and intimacy.
Our text reveals that those who thirst for God, will long for Him. It also reveals to us that longing for God is beyond just a Church experience, those who truly yearn for God wants to replicate encounters in God's presence as their everyday experience. It simply means that if you truly long for God, you will do all you can to have His ever abiding presence.
Longing is the secret behind rugged and undauntable commitment unto God. It is possible to be committed to the work of God and not long for God. But you can never long for God and not be committed unto Him.
Finally, anything that can stop your longing for God is an enemy of your relationship with Him.
PRAYER: Give me a deep hunger for you in Jesus' name.

THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD

TOPIC: THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD
SCRIPTURE: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God - 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
MEMORY VERSE: Philippians 3:10
DIGGING DEEEP: Deep things are secrets hidden from the surface, from the eyes of men and they are not superficial.
Everything that has to do with God is deep; No shalowness in God. God himself is the greatest depth. Just like a skyscrapper was first deeply seated in the heart of an architect before it came into existence, so it is with God. From the depth of God, He cast out the earth into existence, He created everything in the universe. This is a proof of the depth of God. From His depth eternity was created so that whosoever believes in Him won't perish. All attempts to scratch around the surface of divinity, is like an attempt swimming in an endless ocean. He His inexhaustible. His ways are past finding.
Our anchor Scripture says that there is something eyes hasn't seen, ears have't heard, no human heart has the heart to concieve what God has in store for those who love Him. In essence, God has an unimaginable plans for those who love Him. Been in love with God takes you from the shallow dealings of God into a deeper dealings with God. To encounter the deep things of God, you must be in love with God.
Deep things are not hidden from those who have the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit in you is an invitation into the deep things of God. The Holy Ghost is the custodian of the deep things of God.
There is a place in God that no man have ever had access into. But your love for God and your deep relationship with the Holy Ghost will give you a link to that secret place of the most High. For instance Elijah was the first to show us that there is fire in God and that it can be called down from heaven. Elijahs' walk with God showed us that God can send cake and provision to help our needs. Jesus showed us that God can supply us finances from uncommon sources. Jehoshaphat revealed to us that God can fight for us when you praise Him. The Bezaleals revealed that God has wisdom for uncommon craftsmanship. All of these are still little drops of our very deep God.
The deeper we walk with Him the more we access deep things in Him.
Put this to mind today that, deep things can only be recieved in deep places.
How to access the deep things of God. You must be committed to this amongst others:
1. Grow your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
2. Live Holy and righteous life.
3. Always walk with God in faith.
4. Study the word.
5. Be enveloped in worship.
6. Committed in prayer.
7. Have unquenchable hunger for God.
PRAYER: O Lord show me a part of you that no man has ever seen before in Jesus' name.

NATURE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

TOPIC: NATURE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
SCRIPTURE: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men - Romans 14:17-18
MEMORY VERSE: Luke 11:20
DIGGING DEEEP: A kingdom is a realm which is independent and it is controlled by a king.
The kingdom is not democratic but autocratic. It means that the paramount ruler is God. The laws of the kingdom of God are righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. The currency of the kingdom is faith. You can only become a citizen of the kingdom of God by new birth. The kingdom of God has no room for dual citizenship by this i mean, if you are of the kingdom, you can't have citizenship of another kingdom. Anyone who plays this double standard life is immediately spewed out (Revelation 3:16).
The kingdom of God carries the nature of God.
The kingdom of God came when Jesus entered into space and the boundaries of this world. Now
Jesus is no longer on earth physically but sits in our hearts hence we are the carriers of the kingdom of God. The Holy Ghost is the one expressing the kingdom of God through you.
As citizens of the kingdom undestand the following character of the kingdom:
1. THE KINGDOM IS SELF SUSTAINING: It does not form allies with other kingdoms to be relevant (2 Corinthians 6:14)
2. YOU CAN CARRY THE KINGDOM WHEREEVER YOU GO: For instance a white or black person remains so everywhere he finds himself. Thus everywhere he shows up, his identity reflects the race that individual is from. Also if you are married, you are not just a married person in your home, you are married everywhere you go. That is how it is with you. Jesus said "as long as I AM in this world, I AM the light of the world" (John 9:5). Understand that the kingdom of God is the kingdom of light, so been in this world does not change it. The point i am raising is simple, if you know the kingdom, you won't compromise just to fit into the kingdom of this world. You are of a superior kingdom.
3. ALL KINGDOM CITIZENS ARE KINGS AND LORDS: The only reason God is called King of kings and Lord of lords is simply because all citizens of the kingdom of God are kings and lords. Beloved, you are a king rule in every sphere you find yourself. You are a lord don't allow mammon to become your lord. Don't allow evil patterns and lawlessness to rule in your life.
4. THE KINGDOM CAN BE EXPRESSED: Expressing the kingdom is expressing the nature and ability of God Himself. For instance God is love, when you show His love to the world, you are expressing the kingdom. The only way the impact of God's kingdom can be felt is in when it is expressed.
Remember that the kingdom of darkness remains relevant if citizens of God's kingdom do not expressed their identity.
PRAYER: O Lord help me not to compromise my stand in Your kingdom.

TOPIC: NATURE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
SCRIPTURE: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men - Romans 14:17-18
MEMORY VERSE: Luke 11:20
DIGGING DEEEP: A kingdom is a realm which is independent and it is controlled by a king.
The kingdom is not democratic but autocratic. It means that the paramount ruler is God. The laws of the kingdom of God are righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. The currency of the kingdom is faith. You can only become a citizen of the kingdom of God by new birth. The kingdom of God has no room for dual citizenship by this i mean, if you are of the kingdom, you can't have citizenship of another kingdom. Anyone who plays this double standard life is immediately spewed out (Revelation 3:16).
The kingdom of God carries the nature of God.
The kingdom of God came when Jesus entered into space and the boundaries of this world. Now
Jesus is no longer on earth physically but sits in our hearts hence we are the carriers of the kingdom of God. The Holy Ghost is the one expressing the kingdom of God through you.
As citizens of the kingdom undestand the following character of the kingdom:
1. THE KINGDOM IS SELF SUSTAINING: It does not form allies with other kingdoms to be relevant (2 Corinthians 6:14)
2. YOU CAN CARRY THE KINGDOM WHEREEVER YOU GO: For instance a white or black person remains so everywhere he finds himself. Thus everywhere he shows up, his identity reflects the race that individual is from. Also if you are married, you are not just a married person in your home, you are married everywhere you go. That is how it is with you. Jesus said "as long as I AM in this world, I AM the light of the world" (John 9:5). Understand that the kingdom of God is the kingdom of light, so been in this world does not change it. WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS THIS?

TOPIC: WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS THIS?
SCRIPTURE: But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! - Matthew 8:27.
MEMORY VERSE: Acts 10:38
DIGGING DEEEP: Encounter with Jesus Christ of Nazareth leaves you in the deepest realm of bewilderment. This is because His multidimensional personality is awesome, His ways and acts are past human understanding. The disciples in our text were faced with a life threatening storm. They were about to go down with the storm. But thank God they had Jesus with them in the ship. I like you to know that nothing guarantees deliverance and safety like Jesus in your life. Beloved, today there are many people who are faced with life threatening issues and challenges. For some people it is a terminal illment, for some it is threat from evil gangs, for others it is an unexplainable danger. No matter the condition i speak to you right now in the name of Jesus let there be peace.
The disciples saw yet another dimension of God through Jesus. They saw Him heal sick people before, raised the dead, but how can they explain the relationship between His command and the quailing of the boisterious storm? Their heart and intelligence could not add up nor understand and in this state they exclaimed "what manner of man is this!!! You use what "manner of" to suggest that the person or thing you are about to mention is of an unusual or unknown kind and there is much curiosity about what manner of man he was.
It simply means that He was indescribeable, and unfanthomable. Jesus was different from other men in every sense and one wondered at because?
1. HE IS THE SON OF GOD: Today if you accept Jesus as your Lord and king, you will become born again (child of God) and you become different from others in every way.
2. HE DOES WHATEVER THE FATHER TELLS HIM: Jesus does nothing until it is initiated by the Father. If you must be unique and different follow what God is instructing you to do. Following divine instructions makes you stand out in life.
3. HE DOES NOT TAKE THE GLORY: God will use you over and over again only if you won't take the glory meant for Him ti yourself. Anytime you display the glory of God it makes you a marvel to your world.
4. HE OPERATED THE SUPERNATURAL: Jesus lived the natural life supernaturally. He chased out demons from people, He healed the sick, He sets people free from bondage, and restored the dignity of man kind.
Jesus said you can do what He did and much even more.
God wants His children to dazzle the world where ever they are. It does not matter the ranging storms, it is just an opportunity to showcase Jesus to the world.
I pray for you today, your life will be characterized by wonders in Jesus' name.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, i refuse to be just ordinary infuse Your power in me and help me to generate wonders in Jesus' name
