TOPIC: WHY DID JESUS PERFORM MIRACLES?

SCRIPTURE: This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him - John 2:11

KEY THOUGHT: The move of God births glory.

There are times we wonder why Jesus would do something and not do another even though He has power of all. Beloved God's answers for some of your questions can be an out right No. Many want God to always give them the yes answer.
Mary the mother of Jesus asked the Lord for a miracle. Jesus literally said No and gave an excuse for it. But i believe Jesus gave a second thought and connected to the workings of the Father in the realm of the Spirit. When He got the green light from the throne of grace; Jesus did a miracle.
I share six (6) powerful points with you on why Jesus performed that miracle and i believe it is applicable to you today.

1. To show obedience to His earthly mother: Jesus did it to set a template and an example for us. There are men and women who have lost respect and obedience even for parents because they feel they are anointed. Any level of anointung that makes you arrogant, unaccessible and disobedience is questionable. Many today are arrogantly disobedient and God is not doing much around such because of this. If what you are asked to do will not bring glory to God don't do it but if it will then do it with all humility.

2. He did this miracle to show that He has answers to our requests: He did this to confirm that there is no request however insignificant or impossible it might physically look, God has the answer.

3. To reveal His capacity for provision: Our God can provide for any kind of need. He does not just provide, He gives us the best.

4. To show authority over nature: The power of God came upon ordinary water and initiated a glory reaction and converted it into what the people needed.

5. To show that His ministry was all about helping men: The couples did all possible preparation for the success of their wedding, but despite all their effort a major embarassment struck the celebration. That might look like your story, you have done all you can to ensure life is alright but yet, you are met with curcumstances that is beyond your control. I tell you Jesus can help you. He is a very present help in times of need.

6. To show forth Gods' glory: It baffled me that Jesus did not do miracles to manifest power but to manifest glory. The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart that this was so because His glory reveals His Kingship. His Kingship cimes with His power and authority. Also it stimulates His worship.
The glory of God is the manifestation of God. It is the revelation of God. So Jesus did that miracle to reveal God unto mankind. To show to man that He is God and there is nothing that is hard for Him.

Finally, God will do nothing in a place His glory won't be sounded. If you are a minister and you want God to manifest because you want to show your credential or to proof a point that will smoother your ego be sure you are the one hindering the manifold manifestation of the glory of God. If man or self is out of the way, God will come in the way and His presence will stimulate the manifestations of Glory.
Today, i pray for you experience miracles in Jesus' Name.

TOPIC: CONTENTS OF THE THOUGHT OF GOD

SCRIPTURE: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end - Jeremiah 29:11

KEY THOUGHTS: Deep thoughts reflects the depth of a person

It has been confirmed that your true person is hidden in your thoughts. If a person is good his thoughts will be good and if a person is bad his thoughts will navigate around thinking evil. It will also follow that deep thoughts are products of deep minds. Shallow minds think shallow things. Deep minds draw out gold and every precious things but shallow minds pull up dust.
From our anchor Scripture it is established that our God thinks. God said that "I know the thoughts that i think..." that means I am in charge of my thoughts, or i control my thoughts. There are many today who don' t understand the kind of thoughts that come to their mind. They have tried to gain control over their thoughts but yet what they don't want to think about keeps jumping in and out. But as for God, He knows His thoughts towards you.
Let me show you three contents of God's thoughts amongst others:

1. Peace: The Hebrew word for peace is shalom which means nothing missing and nothing broken. It means nothing disorganized nor disordered. He wants your life to full of peace.

2. You: It is imperative to note that God is mindful of you. Even the angels noticed and exclaimed in Psalm 8:4 that "What is man that you are mindful and the son of man that thou visitest him?"  You are very important to God so He thinks good of you.

3. Your destiny: God is is very much interested in your destiny. Whenever He thinks of you, He is thinking of how you can fulfill destiny in a grandstyle. He is making a way of taking off hopelessness, helplessness and emptiness out of your life. He wants your life to full of colour and beauty.

WHAT TO DO TODAY: Since God is thinking of your good, you also have to begin to think good about yourself.

PRAYER: O Lord let my life begin to function in the direction of Your thoughts about me in Jesus' Name.

TOPIC: DEVELOPING WORSHIP CULTURE

SCRIPTURE: Praise the Lord, my soul;all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Psalm 103:1 | NIV

KEY THOUGHT: Fruitful worship is one filled with God.

In microbiology culture is a specially prepared environment which contains every nourishing for a microorganism to grow on. So worship culture is a spiritually prepared enviromment on which our spirit attitude, and way of  and relationship with God can grow. It contains ingredients that supports the growth of spiritual experience.
How can one develop a worship culture or how can one genearate a tense atmosphere that is totally charged up with the power of God?
1. Learn how to be soaked deep in worship: Worship is an act that is learnt by worshipping. You can learn one or two by studying the lifestyle of people who are addicted to worshipping God; but it is enhanced by doing it yourself. You must set aside times to worship God.
2. Come with revelation: One powerful drive force of worship is revelation. Your level of revelation of God will determine your level of worship. 2 Chron. 7:3 says that  "And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever." When they saw (had revelation) of God they began to worship. Get to know Him more, then He will reveal Himself more to you and the more you will worship Him.
One primary way to know the Lord is through His word. So if you are genuinely soaked in His word that is allowing the word not to just sit as head knowledge but to permeate every sphere of your life, you will be soaked in worship.
3. Learn to spend time: If you truly want to experience that deep realm in worship you cannot be in a hurry to worship God. You must sit there until your mind is conquered, your will penetrated and every part of you experience the invasion of God.
4. Desire it: If you must experience the Lord desire Him. Desire is an  invitation to Him. Desire is hunger and the Lord does not lookaway from thise that are hungry for Him.
5. A lifestyle of holiness: An unholy vessel cannot worship Him in the spirit and truth. God always quenches the thirst of the righteous including the thirst of uncommon encounter and experience when you worship.
Today enjoy God in Jesus name.

THE KNOCKER

TOPIC: THE KNOCKER

SCRIPTURE: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me - Revelation 3:20

KEY THOUGHT: Godly reminders are necessary to be in alignment with God.

From our anchor Scripture we see Jesus been introduced to us as the Knocker. Knocking involves making a sound so as to create attention and awareness. This is a supernatural sound made in the realm of the spirit to get the attention of our spirit and soul.
In the realm of the spirit there are protocols and order. God is never disorderly in what He does. There is a way God approaches people and there is a way the devil approaches people. Because the devil is a thief, he will always bump into men but not God. Although God created us, He still has to knock and wait to be invited in before He enters into our hearts. He still values your will.
Even though He created the space in your heart for Himself, He still doesn’t force Himself into that space. You are the one to decide if and when He should come in or not.
Today, i share with you five types of knockings you will hear or get from the Lord:
1. The knock of conviction: Jesus through the Holy Spirit knocks at our hearts to reveal the sin and mistakes in us. This comes normally as a correction, a rebuke or persuassion but all coated in His love. This brings us to our kneels and we repent. I remember once i was walking in sin and God used my mom to preach to me; i broke in tears and surrendered all to Jesus. Since that day i keep growing in my walk with my Lord and King. Even today, the Holy Ghist deals with me. There are countless times He has knocked at my door to show me mistakes, to correct me. Most of these moments i cry, repent, hid to these corrections and reallign to follow.
2. The knock of attention: There are times God knocks just to get your attention. This is meant to help you break out of distracrions and give you focus.
3. The knock for correction: God knocks through our conscience 1 John 3:20 says that "For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." As a child of God He knocks at your heart to correct you. He roughens your spirit with holy judgement and you begin to see that what you did is not godly.
4.  The knock for hunger: Amos 8:11 says that "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the LORD." God is knocking at the spirit of men more than ever creating in them appetite for His word in them.
5. The knocks of reminder: This is almost linked to the former but in this it is a knock to remind you of who you are. I have been here many times that i find myself in places and it looks as if i am blending with the system and the Lord will just knock at my heart to remind me that i am not like them. Also this reminder is the alarm of the spirit that reminds us of commitment unto God. It generally pulls us into fellowship with the Father. You will feel the Holy Spirit knocking at your heart beckoning on you to come and pray, worship, study the Bible, talk to someone about Jesus. This comes as an urge and if not responded to wont stop.
We all at different phases in our walk with the Lord will always get knocks from our Lord to bring us into union and fellowship with Him.
Finally, never be too busy not to respond to the knockings of God on your spirit. Don't postpone, do it now.

WHAT TO DO: Begin to respond to the knocks of the Lord at your spirit today.

PRAYER: O Lord, i begin to respond to You more than ever in Jesus' Name.

TOPIC: KNOWING THE NEXT MOVE OF GOD
SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said: Can I hide from Abraham what I am about to do - Genesis 18:17
KEY THOUGHT: God longs for a man to reveal His next move and plans to.

There are people who have insight into what God is to do next. Bible says that there were some people called the children of Isaachar they were unique and different from others in that they had understanding of times, they understood what God wants them to do now, their capacity to pick up the minutest details of what is in the heart Divinity is amazing.
How awesome it is to know what God wants you to do next, where to go next, what not to do next and know what God wants to do with you next. It is a realm of uncommon instructions and revelations. A realm of zero ignorance about the things of the Spirit. This is the secret to victory and unusual impact.
Our anchor Sripture reveals that for Abraham God does not hide His intentions from Him. And we can deduce that there are people moving and looking to know or hear from God about the next stage but there are those that God is saying to Himself i cant limit nor keep this information from them. People that God is itching to talk with them, people that God is excited to discuss with them.
What made Abraham become such a person?
1. Abraham was a lover of God: In the natural you always eager to hear from the one you love, you long with a burning despiration to speak with such a person; if you haven' t heard from that person you are restless. That was how Abraham's relationship with God was. It was so intimate that every step of faith was not only because God instructed him but because of the love for God. If you love the Lord wholly, He will be itching to always to talk to you.
2. God can always gets Abrahams attention: There are people that God cannot easily get their attention. For such probably the only time God can get their attentiin is when they are asleep so all they can get is a dream from God. There are people even without worshipping or doing nothing as they sit on the bus, in the train, in the market, transacting a business or doing anything the Lord speaks to them; this is because they are always open to God and can give God attention at anytime.
3. Abraham is a doer of God' s word: God always speaks to obedient people because He is sure that they will respond to it. They do whatever the Lord tells them to do. If you are obedient to God in all things He will always talk to you about His next move.
4. Abraham had hunger for His presence: God always comes to quench the thirst of those who long for Him. Abraham was such a person and so God could talk to Him about His next move.
5. Abraham had heart for others: When God told him how he is bringing destruction upon the wicked nation of sodom and gomorrha, Abraham began to beg and intercede unbehalf of souls. If you have desire for others God will talk to you and engage you in communication about them. If you are selfish He wont talk to you about them.
To take territories and have territorial influence and dominion, you must come to this dimension of knowing what next God wants to do.
It makes you become a trail blazer in any field you find yourself.
There is a next move of heaven for the church, family and your nation it is time to know. Spiritual ignorance is disasterous. It is time to know.
Finally, nothing breaks limits like knowing and walking in God's next move.
From today begin to know what the Lord wants you to do next and what He wants to do next.

TOPIC: LORD: THAT COVERS THE NAKEDNESS OF MEN
SCRIPTURE:Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them - Genesis 3:21

KEY THIUGHT: With You Lord i can be naked and have no shame, with You Lord i can be open and have no shame.

In Gen. 2:25 Scriptures said that "They were both naked and were not ashamed." This was when man was in a right relationship with God. This means that no one can hide your nakedness like God. It is better to be naked before God, because so long it was before the Lord they were naked there was no shame. Beloved there are secrets about people that is woth God and no man knows but if that secret os with the devil he will ensure to put that person in shame. What am i saying that when you are in God He corrects your mistakes and swallows it up. That is why Scriptures says that when you repent God does not remember your sins any longer, the blood of Jesus blots ot away.
When the devil tricked man into sin, man fell from Gods presence and became naked. That shows that one basic agenda of the devil is to have you naked. To be naked means that you are bare, open and uncovered. It denotes shame and absence of glory. A naked person feels unsafe and uncomfortable.
They tried covering up their nakedness, their shame, with some fig leaves, but when God came "walking in the garden in the cool of the day" they still hid themselves even though they were "clothed." Friend, you might have probably sinned and you have been trying to cover it up by yourself and effort; the truth is that it is yet open.

"But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, 'Where are you?' And he said, 'I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.'"

Believers must know this that every temptation to sin is to get is naked before God and man. The devils scheme is to bring believers to a place of shame.
I have seen great men fall, kingdom giants handcurfed by the enemy by one sin or another that have silenced their ministry and killed their assignment. It is heart rending for me as i write this because this works of darkness needs to be broken. There are yet another class who have been taken off the line but can't tell anyone, they are hiding by themselves just like Adam in guilt and pain and pretend to or even think that all is well with them.
I came to tell you today how ever the level of nakedness and shame that the enemy has dragged you into God's mercies is available to cover you. With Him you can be naked and not ashamed, opened and not afraid.
Anytime a man is out of order spiritually the person becomes naked. His love covered man again; He will cover you up again.
It is a call for God's children to rise again look at the devil in the eyes and say enough is enough of you embarassing me with pornography, fornicatiin, adultery, stealing, lying, dishonesty and the likes. Run back to God and tell Him what the issue has been and repent; He will cover you up again. He will wrap you up again in His love. He is very mindful of you again.
I speak to you God will clothe you again. Rise up child of God don't let that sin or mistakes become your story, don't allow that sin to take you away from God. Come before Him and tell Him what happened and repent. Adam had no one to tell what happened except God.
Men may never forgive you for that failure but God will.
I speak to someone reading restoration. That spiritual fire you lost is coming back. That assignment lost to mistakes is coming back.
I decree may God clothe you again, re-equip you and refire you again in Jesus' Name.

WHAT TO DO TODAY: Run back child of God, retrack back your steps. Come running back, kbeeling before Majesty and repent. Ensure to soilidly stay with this resolve.

TOPIC: HUMAN PROBLEMS AND THE CURE

SCRIPTURE: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised -Luke 4:18 

KEY THOUGHT: Whereever there is a problem, the word is needed.

In Isaiah 55:11 says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." This means the word of God is a spiritual agent on a Supernatural assingment.

John 1:14 says that "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." The word was translated into a physical entity containing two powerful spiritual gems called grace and truth.

Generally, the world over, humans are plaqued by several situations and are desperate for answers. Some people are totally overwhelmed and literally helpless right now because of the issues they grapple with. From todays anchor Scripture the Word who is Jesus says He was released for the problems of mankind. The Word was released for every problem in your life. Listen beloved, the Word is only needed whereever problems exist. I know that you are surprised to read that; but that is true. Jesus said that it is only the sick that need doctors, He also said that He came for the lost, He came to give life and to lighten the world. Now if human race and the entire earth is facing problems then the Word is essential. From the very begining of the world, the Word was released because the earth had darkness problem, void problem and form problem (Genesis 1:1-3). So we can say that the Word which is also the Gospel is the antedote to human problems. 
Lets highlight few of these problems from our text:
1. The Word solves poverty problem: "...preach the gospel to the poor..." There is an anointing on the Word of God that can swallow up poverty from your entire lineage, your life and generation.
2. The Word solves relationship and emotional problem:  "...he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted..." In the world, more than ever is increased rate of depression which has led many into commiting suicide. You might be going through emotional breakdown from a failed marriage or broken relationship or even from the loss of a loved one, job or anything; the word of God can fix it up. The Word carries the cure. Anointed Word can take away grief, and cast out the spirit of heaviness.
3. The Word solves spiritual problems: "...to preach deliverance to the captives..." The word of God transmits deliverance power because it communicates the anointing which breaks yokes. I have seen people in strange addiction delivered by encounter with the word. That is why if the devil can succeed in stopping you from hearing the word he has successfully put you in captivity.
4. The Word cures visionlessness: "...and recovering of sight to the blind..." Visionlessness equals directionlessness and this cummulnates into missionlessness and missionlessness births uselessness.

WHAT TO DO TODAY: Seek the word of God. Stay with the word and apply it to your everyday living.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: O Lord, Baptise my spirit with passion and hunger for your word in Jesus' Name.
I decree that the power from your word today, every issue in my life, family and destiny be solved now in Jesus' Name.

TOPIC: PRINCIPLES AND PROCESS OF BEARING SPIRITUAL FRUITS

SCRIPTURE: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much FRUIT- John 12:24

KEY THOUGHT: God wants you to move beyond been a seed to become a fruit

After you gave your life to Christ, the incorruptible seed of God was planted in you.  1 Peter 1:23 says that “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. “ This seed gave you a new nature; Gods nature.

The truth is that it is beautiful to have the seed of God in you but that is not enough. God wants you and I to convert that seed into fruits. God desires us to be fruitful not only physically but spiritually. God values fruitfulness  because that is the only way to confirm that your life has His seed. It is the only way to proof to the world and the devil that the seed of God is blossoming in you.

From our anchor Scripture Jesus said that a fruitless seed remains alone. The meaning of this is that a person who becomes born again and doesn't bear fruit is by himself. That individual remains like a new model car that has not been used. Even if it is twenty years old so long as that car is not driven (exercised) it remains by itself and keeps deteriorating and loosing value. This is the condition of some: Since they became born again they have not moved upward, they are still on the elementary foundation and have not exercised the seeds and potentuals imparted into theur spirit by the Lord. A fruitless seed lacks capacity to multiply or have not harnessed the ability to multuply. Anyone that is still remains on the seed level has not activated the spiritual potentials released into you when you became born again.

To bear fruits it is to reproduce the seeds of God in you.

Not to bear fruit is to loose the ability to become better in other words is to loose capacity to stimulate development and advancement.

But if we must move from been just a seed to become a fruit the first principle or process i want to share with you today is that we must die.

What does it mean?

1. To die means to release one's self: You must be ready to let go of you.
2. It is to release the content out of the container: There is something God placed inside of you. It must be emptied out.
3. It is to release life out of your vessel: Release life out of you for others to feel. Let people feel the life of Jesus in you. Through you someone should experience the life of Christ.
4. It is to connect to the spiritual and silence the natural: God wants us to live life not on natural basis anymore but on spiritual basis. Your emphasis from now must be about spiritual things. Jesus was on earth but lived out the Spirit. He said I do nothing from my earthly dimension, but the works that I do, I do what I see my Father do. He was on earth but was doing what was done in the realm of the Spirit by His Father. Elijah also, did mighty things by connecting and living out the spiritual. The Spiritual is the stem for the supernatural.
5. It is to loose the flesh and gain the spirit: It is to mortify the flesh and activate the Spirit. Until the flesh is crucified your spirit can never be alive. Until your flesh decrease, Jesus can't increase.

Finally, if we must produce fruits unto righteousness and holiness, fruits that will resound in eternity then we must be ready to denature the flesh and activate the spirit.

TOPIC: PRODUCTS OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD
SCRIPTURE: "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil . . ." —Proverbs 8:13

KEY THOUGHT: The absence of the fear of the Lord breeds disorderliness

It is confirmed that the fear of the Lord is the respect for God and His words. It is deep reverence for God. It is not fear because of His judgement but fear brewed out of aweful love for Him. It is a heart and life shaped into honouring God wholly.
In this age, it is apparent that many have lost fear for God. Anywhere the fear of God is abundant true relationship with God can be confirmed.
What are the products of the fear of the Lord?
1. Foundation for wisdom: Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Anywhere the fear of the Lord is absent foolishness rules but where it is present wisdom is at its peak.
2. Long life: Proverbs 10:27 says,
"The fear of the LORD prolongs life, But the years of the wicked will be shortened." Long life is a product of the fear of the Lord. There are destinies that have been destroyed because of the lack of the fear of God. Proverbs 14:27 "The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death."  It does not just give life but it is a pool of life. Proverbs 19:23 "The fear of the LORD leads to life, So that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil." It gives life that is satisfied and barricafed from evil.
3. Brings confidence: Proverbs 14:26 says, "In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And his children will have refuge." The fear of the Lord sponsors  confidence. It gives you confidence Godward and confidence lifeward. This means that the fear of the Lord will give you confidence to approach God at anytime. It gives you confidence on the corridor of life knowing that God will back you. Daniel and friends for example had the fear of God they refused to bow to other gods and God was with them even in the fire.
4. Betters your lot:  Proverbs 15:16 "Better is a little with the fear of the LORD Than great treasure and turmoil with it." The little you get with the fear of God is better than amassing plenty in unrighteousness. If you are in an office and people are adding extra zero's to perpetuate fraud do not sign up with them. God can prosper your meager salary and make your lot better.
5. Commands the blessing: Psalm 128:1 says, "How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways." Blessings companies anyone who fears the Lord.
6. Makes evil disgusting: Proverbs 8:13 says, "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil . . ." When the fear of God is absent people can easily become tools in the hands of the devil.

WHAT TO DO TODAY: Make God the centre of all you do.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: O Lord, let the Spirit of the fear of the Lord come upon me today in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: THE SECRET OF THE ANOINTING
SCRIPTURE: Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. – Psalms 45:7

KEY THOUGHT: The Anointing raiser of men

Anointing is the communicator of grace. It is the confirmation of divine presence.
From todays anchor text we know that the anointing can lift a person above. It gives you competitive advantage, it gives you an edge above others. It simply means that an anointed life will have nothing to do with smallness, mediocirty and low levels. It simply will elevate from grass to grace. For example, David was dispised by his brethren and was confirned to the bush. He had nothing to do outside there but when the anointing came upon him he was taken from the bush to the palace.
The anointing always comes with a price; today let's examine two:
1. Love Righteousness: If you must have anything to do with God, if God must pour His oil upon your life then you must love righteousness.
What does it mean to love righteousness?
Quickly let us strike a distinction here that there is a huge difference between loving righteousness and doing righteousness. One can act love but won't love. It is possible to show love and not truly be inlove. For instance when someone is afraid of the implication of sin and then is not sinning it is not because that individual loves righteousness but because of the consequence that accompanies sin. A person who is afraid of deadly diseases that might come with sexual sin and is avoiding to sin, is not because that individual loves righteousness but because of the fear of death from that sin. So to love righteousness is to love God and love his commandments. During Jesus earthly ministry, a man met Him saying that he had kept all the ten commandments and never faulted in anyone. Jesus told him true, but go sale all you have and give to the poor and he left with anger and broken heart. That man acted righteous but does not love righterousness. The point today is that if you love righteousness everything about you will change. It will not be about going to heaven or going to hell, it will simply be because you love God so deeply to do anything He does not like and love anything He doesn't love.
How to love righteousness
A. Pursue righteousness: Proverbs 15:9 says, “The LORD detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue righteousness.” We pursue righteousness when we pursue the character of Christ and desire holiness more than fleshly indulgence.
B. Hunger after righteousness: Matthew 5:6 says that "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" This is not a casual thirst, it is deep, not temporary but with great irredemable desperation and obssession for righteousness.
C. Be passionate about righteousness and holiness.
2. Hate wickedness: It is detesting lawlessness and sin. Today's world celebrates lawlessness and sin over holiness and righteousness. People look at you as an alien if you speak the truth and stand for what is right. When people defend evil, i wonder what has happened to their mind! But if you must become a candidate for the anointing then you must dislike, detest and disown any form of unrighteousness and unlawlessness.
Joseph hated sin the product was elevation from slavery to royalty and from prison to the palace.
Daniel detested sin the end result was excellence, relevance and promotion.
There is no man who love righteousness and dislikes sin that will ever go down in life. They move from one layer of glory to another.
WHAT TO DO TODAY: Be passionate about God.
Boldly stand for righteousness.
